A really great trip that was good value for money. Guides were nice and informative and we had a lovely day doing loads of different things. As well as a very nice lunch, we had a few drinks on the boat and some watermelon on the beach which was all included in the price. A great day, would highly recommend.
Awesome day out exploring various historical and relaxing places around the lake. Had a fantastic guide who was really informative. Couldn't recommend higher!
What an unforgettable day! The boat tour was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Visiting the Bay of Bones, Saint Naum, and the beautiful village of Trpejca was a fantastic experience, but the highlight was definitely swimming at the hidden beach with its crystal-clear water. It felt like paradise! Everything was perfectly organized, the boat was comfortable, and the crew was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. We always felt safe and well taken care of, and the whole trip was relaxed, fun, and full of breathtaking views. If you're visiting Lake Ohrid, don't miss this tour with Vik Experience. It was one of the best parts of our holiday in North Macedonia. Thank you for such wonderful memories, we highly recommend it!
Despite not being able to go on this trip as my hotel was too far away. Viktor did his best to help and reassure me that I would get my money returned and I did. He is a very trustworthy and kind guide and I'm sure the trip would have been amazing. I recommend anyone go and hope to go myself on a future visit
The boat tour on Lake Ohrid was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Tobias, was incredibly friendly and created a fun and relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. We had a wonderful group, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour itself was peaceful and well organized, and the lunch was excellent. We truly enjoyed every moment of our day on the water and would highly recommend this tour!
Our family had an incredible time on this full-day boat tour, and it was easily one of the main highlights of our trip. The itinerary is exceptionally well-paced, blending fascinating regional history with plenty of time to unwind.
We had a beautiful day traveling by boat to so many picturesque sights around Lake Ohrid. Visiting Sveti Naum was so special and we also loved the other stops. The lunch was delicious and the beach was an adventure. Very fun day!
Absolutely fabulous day - the best of a lot of fabulous days in Ohrid. We visited four or five places around the lake including the St Naum monastery area. If you go there, don't miss the separate boat trip on the river - the water is stunning, and it's such a unique place. The lunch Viktor organised was probably the best meal we had during our week in Ohrid, and he knows all the best viewpoints and places to swim. An amazing day. If we go back, we will definitely do it again. (We also went on a great day trip to Albania with Viktor! Very interesting and we enjoyed his insights and personal connection to the places he took us. He goes above and beyond on all his trips!!)
We were previously in (North) Macedonia and then did excursions with another provider. By chance we discovered VIK on the internet and we do not regret it! Instead of a large group following a guide with a standard story, this is nice and small scale. What stands out at VIK is the personal approach of Viktor, Anastasia and Tobias. They start a conversation with everyone and show interest. Their English is very good. We did two excursions. Beautiful boat trip to Bay of Bones and monastery St Naum. Nice lunch at fine restaurant and finally swimming on private beach. Two smaller boats with about 10 people. Company split into English/Dutch and Eastern European people, so everyone could understand what the guide was saying. We had Tobias and he guided us perfectly. We also attended the Macedonian evening at Victor and Anastasia's house. Due to the bad weather, the walk was unfortunately limited to an informative tour of the village. We were able to help prepare the food and of course eat it. With unlimited drinks, a Macedonian music group and joint dancing, it was a pleasant evening.
Very nice nice trip , can recommend it to everyone 😉
