Lake Louise, Moraine, Emerald Lake, Johnston Canyon, Banff Town

This excursion was as described in the listing for the most part. The listing couldnt capture the grandeur of the various sights. They were breath taking and gorgeous. My only concern is that we didn't realize hiking was involved in two of the stops. The hikes were about 1-1 1/2 miles, one with a very steep climb with stairs, (which I was unable to do). This was a great tour with many sights in one day, but dont wear street shoes. At the very least sneakers are recommended.

We had an amazing tour in Banff, and a big part of that was thanks to our driver and tour guide, Sanjeet. From the beginning to the end of the trip, Sanjeet was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was comfortable, kept the tour well organized, and shared interesting facts and stories about Banff and the surrounding areas. His positive attitude, patience, and willingness to help made the experience even more enjoyable. Sanjeet went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, giving us enough time at each stop, answering all our questions, and making the journey smooth and memorable. If you’re planning a Banff tour, I highly recommend requesting Sanjeet as your guide. Thank you, Sanjeet, for making our trip so special—we’ll always remember this wonderful experience!

Awesome tour to some of the most beautiful areas in Alberta. Was advertised as a 9 hour tour but was closer to 12 hours but worth it for the sites visited and cost.

Well planned out. We hit all the highlights with enough time to spend at each place. Our guide was awesome!

This was a great experience. 10/10 recommend our driver Asheesh. He was very helpful, considerate, and funny. He was sure to take pictures of our group, give helpful and interesting information about the places we visited, and even took the time to stop the van so that our tour group could see a bear that was on the side of the road. Asheesh is by far the best tour driver that I have ever experienced!

Great day visiting 3 lakes, natural bridge and Johnson Canyon. Picked up in Banff at 9:50 and dropped back to hotel at 7:30pm. Really helpful friendly driver Naveen gave lots of info on the drive.

We had a great time and Navdeep was our host who was very knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and very welcoming to us. We were total of 11 including 4 little kids. The ride was safe and fun the whole time. We highly recommend Matrix travel and tour and Navdeep as the best host.

Such a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Sanjeet was so nice, informational and was really good at his job. Told us where to go to get the best views and got us back to Calgary on time! Was so worth it!!!

Another family member booked the tour through TripAdvisor, but I thought I needed to write a review as well. TripAdvisor has the tour as 9 hours and the company’s website has it as 10 hours. That is correct as long as you are getting picked up and dropped off in Banff. If you are being picked up in Calgary, you need to add another 3 hours of time. The total time was 13 hours from pick up to drop off. The pick up site was a a little chaotic with various drivers from different companies standing by their vans. We had to approach various drivers to find the right tour. No one was making any effort to greet and find their passengers. We found the correct driver and got on board. There was one seat without a functioning seat belt which wasn’t an issue until we picked up another passenger in Banff and she had to sit in that seat. The driver never introduced himself, inquired about any of our names, and/ or gave an overview of tour/stops. It was a pretty much a silent ride until the first restroom stop. There was very little information given throughout the tour itself. It was the quietest tour I have ever been on. At one of the stops, the driver told us that we would have 40 minutes at the location, but a few minutes later told us to back in a hour. Apparently after the majority of the passengers had gotten out, he told the remaining few to be back in 40 minutes. About 5 members of the group returned in 50-60 minutes. They were scolded by the driver about being late. They did explain that they did hear him say to return in an hour. At the next stop, he did clarify the time we should be back, but then said he had the right to leave without us if we were late. I understand the importance of keeping the tour on time, but that seemed a bit excessive. The lunch stop at Lake Louise village is a bit of a joke. No information was given by the driver on anything in the village. There are not very many places to eat there and most of them had a line out the door with a 40-45 minutes wait to get your food. There is a small market there that does sell sandwiches and other small items. Forty five minutes in not enough time to get any food besides going to the market. Also, there is no other real opportunity for a meal after that point other than Johnson canyon if you forgo the hike. There are places to buy snack items at some of the stops. In the summer, the tour does not stop in Banff other than to pick up or drop off passengers. I did not see that information until I went on the company’s web page. The tour did allow for a brief overview of the sites, but I think it would be best to not try and do all them in one day. It felt pretty rushed. The hike in Johnson canyon to the upper falls is difficult to complete in the 90 minutes allowed unless you are a reasonably fast hiker. It is a 3 mile hike. The driver drove safely which was good. I enjoyed seeing the sites, but I can’t unfortunately say the same about the tour itself.
