Unfortunately, the boat tour could not take place due to bad weather. The organizer informed me of this in good time by email and also very kindly by phone. The cancellation of the costs incurred was also dealt with immediately.
This was a wonderful excursion on Lake Garda. The guide was good and the tour itself was informative and fun. I would of liked to have known ahead of time that we were going to Salo for an hour so that I could of done some research as to what to do for that hour. I really liked being able to swim off the boat and relax on the water/boat for awhile.
Hi Dear, thank you very much for your review! keep in touch with us for future experiences :) Best regards, Riccardo
Lovely boat trip across to Salo with commentary in English & German. Not sure why we couldn’t join it from Garda but the morning walk along to Bardolino was pleasant as is Bardolino itself. At least we were able to disembark at Garda. Would recommend.
A relaxed tour on 22.08.2022, 2 pm with a nice multilingual travel companion who brought all the sights in German, English and Italian effortlessly closer. We were also pleased that she accompanied us in Saló to the cathedral and knew a lot of interesting things to tell. We had a wonderful afternoon at and on Lake Garda. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately we did not enjoyed our trip. This is not a guided tour to Isola del Garda but this is a sail through Isola del Garda. If we had known that the only thing really we would do was visit Salo and only the church we could have drive ourselves. On our way back and I had put exactly the same review and on arrival to Garda port we were expected by the represented of the LikeGarda that very unfriendly talked to me because of my review. I really wonder if they wait for all their guests that write them a review. Be careful when writing a review, do it only after you arrived or don’t do this trip at all. Not the worth the money.
Dear Pedro, To know how the tour takes place and what it includes, you need to read the descriptions .. it's not difficult. Once you arrived in garda i simply brought you the printout of the tour description taken from the site where you booked, so that you could read better that nowhere does it say that we would go to Isola del Garda to visit it. (which is what you actually wanted .. the guide said) Should I have been friendly because you did a 1 star review to deliberately harm our business? People are free to write what they want, but if you write that the tour is not worth it because you thought you were going to the island of Garda for visit.. and therefore you were wrong to book this I cannot accept it. Try to take responsibility for your decisions .. too easy to harm others for your own mistakes ..
We really enjoyed our trip to Salo and the tour of the various parts of Lake Garda. The narrative from the guide was great- just enough- in English and German language. The stop over at Salo was nice to explore - really lovely ice cream shop- and the boat is lovely. Afternoon start is good and the pier is just at cafe Marolago. A picture of the boat in the tour description would help with managing whether you are in the right place. Anyway it was definitely worth taking the tour.
The return journey along the shore line was the best bit . We thought there would be more information, and although Salo was lovely , it didn't warrant two hours there, Not enough seats ,
Hello, I'm sorry that the tour was not to your liking. For my part, I must say that the guided boat tour on Lake Garda with a panoramic stretch and beautiful views that can only be seen from the boat is worth the money required. It is not simple a transfer by boat. On the boat we have 52 seats available, and on the date you choose we were in 30 customers .. So please don't lie, it's not cute at all .. Regarding the information given during the tour, the captain always explains in double language English + German to allow all customers to fully understand and become passionate about the lake. we try to do our best every day, I'm sorry this didn't come to you. I hope to see you again, maybe with another trip more suitable for you. Thank you, Best regards, Riccardo
Sailing from Garda, we crossed the lake to visit the island of Isola, then onward to Salo for a coffee break. Our guide was well informed about the history of lake garda and conversed in both english and german to highlight the main points of interest. Altogether a fascinating afternoon out with a nice glass of prosecco thrown in for good measure.
The tour of the island was excellent and conducted by a young Italian lady who spoke perfect English. It is well worth going on this tour but beware that there are no signs for the pickup area and the boat shows no indications either. It left very promptly at the appointed time and I'm not sure that everyone who had booked was on board. Similarly, at the end of the tour, we had twenty minutes to explore on our own and were given a time to be back at the boat. The boat driver was very keen to leave and very few checks, if any, were made to ensure that everyone was aboard.
The trip to Isola del Garda is definitely worthwhile and is also very entertaining....great plant life and a fantastic view!!!
