This beautiful crater lake, fed by underground springs of Mt. Kilimanjaro, is located on the border of Tanzania and Kenya. The water of this lake is located inside a steep crater rim and is surrounded by beautiful nature which is habitat to baboons and other monkey species. The guide will take you on a steep hike down to the water where you can enjoy the view and take a kayak around the lake. The guide will also show you the surroundings of the lake and the crater itself.

Beautiful lake where you can take a wonderful hike. The staff is very friendly. Also nice to take the Kano around the lake.

We had a great time with Moana at Lake Chala. We hiked around the lake through beautiful and diverse landscapes. Along the way we passed viewpoints that offered a good view on the lake. We closed the day off with kayaking and even crossed the border to Kenya. Our Moana tour guide made sure everything was arranged well and we had a lot of fun together during the day. I would recommend this trip.
