When we arrive to Bled, the firs thing you will experience is the traditional pletna boat ride to the Bled island - the boat is operated with a signle rower. Alternatively you can rent a small boat and row to the island yourself.
After visiting the island, your driver will take you to Bled Castle, dramatically perched on a cliff high above Lake Bled. We had a wonderful day visiting super zen lake Bled. Our Guide Jan, was an absolutely charming young lady who kept us entertained throughout with her knowledge and interesting historical antidote. She offered many different options for additional activities near the lake. However, we were perfectly happy to spend time visiting the island and simply wandering around the lake. The beautiful views and the calm atmosphere were amazing. A very memorable trip.
We really enjoyed this Bled private tour. We are a family of five with three young kids who had the best time in Bled. We visitsd the castle, had a Kremsnita cake and then, insted of taking the Pletna boat decided to rent a boat and row to the island. What a fun day. Highly recommend !
Our driver/guide Jan was excellent. We were picked up at our hotel. Jan was informative about the area and totally flexible to our desired agenda. We were ready to head back a little early and Jan suggested a short stop at the medieval town of Radovljica. We appreciated his suggestion.
This was the second tour we choose with the same guys and this was really a treat. Unforgettable day exploring this Slovenian gem - we were picked up in a private SUV and taken to Bled, first a pletna boat ride to the island and then the bled castle and the scenic views of the lake.
