Cancelled without telling me

The tour company canceled on me without telling me. 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time I received an email for a refund. Tour company did not reach out to me despite multiple texts and phone calls either. Can not recommend them to anyone.

Gérardmer: a sweetness like Vosges sweets

Gérardmer: the city and the lake. Gérardmer is a very pleasant city: airy, beautiful streets and avenues, ease of parking by car and many non-paying parking. Of course, the essential: linen in all these forms and sales available in many factory stores in downtown and nearby, with always very interesting prices (outlet, second choice). Its lake, quiet and its "green" environment, restaurants and shops full of specialties from the east of France.

Amazing experience

We booked this trip last minute and it was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Guatemala. The tour guide was early, interactive, and provided a lot of history of the cities we visited. Would definitely recommend this tour, you won’t regret it.

Weaving in San Juan La Laguna

We attended a weaving class in the village at a place called Tinte Maya, a cooperative of women artisans. The ladies helped us make beautiful scarves in a lovely patio setting. They were so patient with us! It was a really great experience

Fun Experience

It was very fascinating to go into the communities of the various Mayan societies. It was a good boat ride across Lake Atitlan. Panajchel and the Santiago Village were each full of culture and history. During this journey we happened to spend a lot of time with street vendors and dining venues with the objective of returning business to the community which I appreciate. It was a good excursion, however, I would have enjoyed a little more history or direct interaction with members of the Mayan culture.

Lake atitlan trip.

Drive from guatemala city to the lake was through very scenic route. Took 3 hrs. The lake and its communities are diverse, artistic and deep in culture. Weather was kind, mild and cloudy.
