Lahore Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site located in the north-western part of Lahore, built in 1566 by the 3rd great Mughal emperor Akbar with brick masonry for the two primary purposes, abode and defence respectively. Later on, 5th Mughal emperor Shah Jahan obtained zenith in architecture, introducing white marble, mosaic tiles work and inlaid stone work inside the palace of mirror. Lahore fort is all set to captivate your attention with its architecture marvel.
It is 17th century grand mosque built by 6th Mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir with red sand stone. It is one of largest mosque across the globe with the capacity of one hundred thousand people to accommodate at a time. one can also amaze by its magnificent feature of echo system, which shows true shrewdness of Mughal emperors in building architecture.
Minaret of Pakistan is Located inside the the greater Allama Iqbal park. It has been raised here in the commemoration of Pakistan resolution, which was passed here at the very place where back in, 23rd of march 1940, founding father of Pakistan (JINNAH) delivered historical speech for the separation of Muslim minorities of Indian subcontinent.
Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal is known by many identities, including the National Poet of Pakistan, the Poet of the East, and the Spiritual Father of Pakistan, due to his revolutionary poetry, and his role in inspiring to the creation of an independent state for Muslims, popounding the ideology of Pakistan. He is also recognized as Hakim ul-Ummat (the Sage of the Ummah) for his broader vision of the global Muslim community.
Walled City is enclosed by 12 gates and one of them is Delhi gate, most influential, Royal family used to go inside their castle passing through this gate, being admired and welcomed by natives.
Shahi Hammam Was built in 1634 in the era of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, while stepping inside the walled city of Lahore, hammam was the first place of rest and refreshing for the Royals. This shahi hammam has 3 sections normal water, cold water and special sauna bath admired by Ottoman's. Owing to its great architecture marvel and discipline it has achieved the Award of Merit by UNESCO.
This is one the most influential and traditionally decorated street inside the walled city of Lahore, attributed to the name of Mughal emperors physician Surjan Singh who resided here. One can experience their aesthetic soul, clicking photography and making videography.
It is one the most iconic mosque across the globe built in 1634, representing the true aesthetic sense of 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, depicting through intricate mosaic work, fresco painting and calligraphy. It has become hotspot of every single traveller visiting Lahore.
Shalimar Gardens is also a UNESCO world heritage site in Lahore, served as a royal recreational area and an "earthly utopia" for Emperor Shah Jahan, providing a beautiful, harmonious space where humans and nature could coexist. It functioned as a prestigious complex with pavilions and a summer house for the royal family's leisure and accommodation, inspired by the concept of a Persian paradise garden with a sophisticated gravity-fed water system. Walking through its serene environment one may experience the true tranquillity amidst the chaos of the modern world.
The flag-lowering ceremony at the Wagah border is a daily, choreographed military event where Pakistani and Indian soldiers perform synchronized, theatrical displays of martial skill and patriotism before the flags of both nations are lowered simultaneously, symbolizing the competition, brotherhood, and shared history of the two countries. The ceremony includes high kicks, stomps, and marching, accompanied by patriotic chants from the crowds on both sides, creating an electrifying atmosphere of national pride and rivalry.

We booked the Lahore tour with Bilawal in May 2026. I booked directly with him via Whatsapp, he was professional, organized and very responsive. On the day of the trip, I arrived late due to traffic but he was patient and waited. He even met me at my car and exchanged information with my father who was a little apprehensive about sending my daughter and I on a tour with a stranger. Bilawal was very professional and polite. Though we were running a little behind, he prioritized our tour to ensure we could see all the monuments within the time constraints. Bilawal included plenty of detail in his explanation and history of each monument. My 10 year old daughter hung on his every word and loved hearing the stories connected to the Sheesh Mahal and the secrets of the Hammam. Bilawal included many little easter eggs in his tour that were interactive and allowed us to imagine how things might have been in the past when these buildings were teeming with life. We did not have to pay for anything whilst on the tour with him. He was well known by many other merchants and staff recognized him and greeted him with warmth which is a great sign to show his collegiality. I especially liked the way he spoke with people and children trying to sell us things, he was polite, and professional and asked them to please not interfere with the tour. We used Bilawal's services again to obtain protocol for the Wahga border visit. He was prompt and organized. We were on the list within 15 min of messaging him. My sister came to visit a few days after me and she used his services for the same Lahore tour and Wahgah border protocol list. We were all very satisfied with his services. I recommend Bilawal to anyone who is looking for a tourguide. He was very responsive on whatsapp to any questions I had about anything. I really appreciated it.
