La Maddalena Full Day on a Vintage Sailing Ship

we spent today on board this beautiful boat, Captain Gabriella and Paulo took brilliant care of us. The aperitifs were great and the pasta lunch incredibly tasty, the drinks were flowing (coffee, soft drinks, prosecco, beers, waters) - the swimming spots they took us to were absolutely stunning! This was by far my favourite day of our holiday (so far!) a HUGE recommendation if you’re thinking of booking.

An excellent day with Gabriele and Paolo. A warm and friendly welcoming, and impeccably kept boat. It was a hot day on land, but in the water it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I’ve dreamed of sailing in the Mediterranean. This did not disappoint. Such a nice boat. We also realized at the last minute that the meeting point was in Palau. We were staying in La Maddalena. Gabriele had no problem meeting us in La Maddalena and dropping us back off there. We got to have a little extra time on the boat each way which was a bonus. Jumping off the boat and swimming at the stops where we anchored was so fun, especially for our teenagers. The food and libations were very good. I highly recommend this day trip.

We LOVED our day aboard the Leonidas, with our captains Gabriele and Paolo. It’s the highlight of our vacation. Everything was taken care of, from the departure from the port of Palau to the snacks upon arrival, the drinks, lunch, and all the snorkeling equipment. The boat was clean, with many different places to admire the scenery. The places visited were superb for snorkeling. Gabriele involved our youngest son (8 years old) in driving the boat; he was really kind and wanted us to have an unforgettable day. I definitely recommend this excursion! Thanks again for this beautiful moment that will remain etched in our memories.

This was the highlight of my solo Sardinia trip. The whole day was so well organised. We travelled to multiple swim spots and around many islands. Snorkels and SUP provided, the drinks kept flowing and the food was delicious. So many beautiful sights and the day was so special, I want to go back and would highly recommend booking this. Every little detail from this experience was amazing. The trip starts out with an introduction of the crew, Captain Gabriele, Michel, and Paolo. We had the best time from start to finish. It felt like we were hanging out with long time friends and the itinerary was quite flexible in terms of what we wanted to do. There’s ample time for swimming and enjoying the water and views. We looked around and Michel’s ship was definitely the most unique and vintage one around the area. The aperitivo and lunch was delicious. Drinks kept flowing! This was our honeymoon trip and we would highly recommend this experience!

We had the most incredible day on this boat, definitely the highlight of any trip we’ve ever been on. The boat is so beautiful, it feels like luxury. Gabriele and Paolo are incredible, they talked about the history of each place and made us feel right at home. The food they prepared was 10/10! No complaints at all and would do book it again in a heartbeat.

Gabriele and Paolo kindly guided us today with great expertise to discover the natural wonders of the La Maddalena archipelago. Sailing on a vintage boat can make the task easier, but they truly put a lot of themselves into it, welcoming us with extreme kindness and preparing an excellent and abundant aperitif with tasty local products to greet us upon our return from exploring the various coves and snorkeling activities. Gabriele at the helm of the sailing ship, Paolo at the helm of the tender, and the special chef for the lunch organized on board: in short, a happy day spent between dives and much joy. Thank you, guys, it was truly wonderful to discover your land with you.

10 out of 5 possible stars! Gabriel and Paolo took just the two of us out. That is not something to be taken for granted and was outstanding. We had an unforgettable, relaxing, and unique experience. Those seeking friendly conversations and tranquility are exactly in the right place here. Additionally, there was good catering, a toilet, etc. From our perspective, it could not be done better. Thank you both very much! It was perfect.
