The Perdana Botanical Garden, formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardens, is situated in the Heritage Park of Kuala Lumpur. It has always been a part of the green lung of the city and has a history of over a decade. Originally created as part of a recreational park but planted with collections of tropical plants, the garden have been rehabilitated and turned into a Botanical Garden. The garden have not only botanical collections but also house features that give the visitors the ambiance of being in a tropical rainforest, despite being in the middle of a bustling metropolis.
The National Museum is a museum located on Jalan Damansara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum is situated in close proximity to the Perdana Lake Gardens and it provides an overview of Malaysian history and culture.
The Kuala Lumpur Railway Station was Kuala Lumpur’s third railway station – the first was located along Jalan Cheng Lok while the second was set at the present site. The second station was demolished to make way for the present-day site. The building is a favourite sightseeing attraction in the city due to its gorgeous façade – the open-plan Renaissance-like building’s spacious verandas with arched colonnades make for beautiful photo opportunities.

Plus: The driver was punctual and the bus was clean. Minus: Well, where to start? One couldn’t call it a guided tour, more photo stops. No facts about architecture or history, questions were answered as short as possible. While standing around he was more interested in watching videos. The itinerary was different. We did just drive through the main road next to the botanic garden, did not visit the mosque, not the central station, not the Temple nor the National Museum. Instead we visited the parking lot of the KL Tower. For what? Very disappointing. Can’t recommend the tour.
