Skradinski Buk is one of Croatia’s natural treasures and is the longest and most impressive waterfall on the Krka River. Here your licensed guide will take you on a tour of this stunning cascading waterfall, the centuries old water mills, rolling mills and washing columns where you will see the traditional folk architecture. From there it’s off to the “Golden Flower of Europe award” an award-winning Ethno village to learn about the history of Skradinski Buk. In addition, your guide will show you the rich diversity of the Flora, 1022 recorded species, and the endemic, rare and threatened fauna of Krka National Park.
A beautiful small town with amazing views. Use your free time to take a walk through the little town, climb the fortress and enjoy panoramic views, grab a cocktail or lunch in one of the many bars and restaurants, or take a swim at a beach nearby, where the Krka River meets the sea. Skradin has a long history and was once a Roman Municipal, ruled by the Venetians, and the Turkish at different times in history. You can chose to spend an 1,5 hour wondering in the city and/or swimming at the beach.

During the summer months it’s extremely hot so make sure you stay hydrated. It’s also very busy but fortunately during the month of June it was not as bad as I thought it would be
The trip to the national park was absolutely fantastic. The tour guide Joseph gave a small tour with historical information at the waterfalls, which was very interesting. The bus driver Martina was also great; we felt safe throughout the entire ride. The 7 hours and 30 minutes were completely sufficient. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the trip. The bus ride with AC in 32 degree heat felt good. The park was absolutely the highlight of the whole week and the beach in Skradin was perfect for a swim. The tour leader a fun and with good history and info.
