Krabi Hong Island Tour: Charter Private Long-tail Boat

Awesome! Going by longtail to Hong Islands is beautiful; you go at your own pace, comfortably, the landscapes are lovely, and you have the necessary time to explore each place they take you or to manage your time a bit. They take you and wait to take you to the next one.

First, it is very easy to book. And when my hotel was not included in their pick-up area, they provided an add-on option. They can also help you with an add-on lunch box (not included in tour price) which can help you during tour time. Pick-up car & pier transfer were all good & easy too. I got boat #5, driven by an experienced captain who was very polite & fun. I went solo, so the boat was very enjoyable. Boat was clean & equipped with basic safety equipment. They also provided you with bunch of water & fresh fruits. The main highlights were the islands. We went off-shore around 7.20 and it was a perfect time (to avoid some crowd) - always ask for earliest possible time. The route was Koh Lao Lading - Koh Pakbia - Hong Lagoon - Koh Hong, all were fantastic with white sand beach and green waters. I got great pictures during the tour. In short, the trip was super worthed, and I would recommend to any of my friend.

Very disappointed for what we paid.We did the early boat ride privately. Boat broke down at sea. Managed to get back and was told 2-3 hours to fix. Luckily after some discussions another boat became available Said we want to snorkel but wasn't understood. Got to Hong island and was told 2 hours here we said no thank you, just 1 hour as we want to snorkel. After waiting on the hot jetty for half hour we managed to find the company's contact details and he finally picked us up. Couldn't snorkel due to jelly fish. Asked if we can snorkel elsewhere, went to a second island 5 mins away and moored up and jelly fish everywhere. Said can we go somewhere else and was told we had run out of time and had to go back now. Disappointed we didn't get a full boat trip due to factors which were not our fault but the companies. I'm also aware jelly fish may not have been present at another island nearby which we could have tried and had time if the boat hadn't broken down and we were collected after an hour. We asked to be dropped off at Railay ( no jellyfish) and we sorted our return journey. Stunning!

It was great! I have a 5 and 7 year old so an all day trip was out. This was perfect.

Our guide was just top class. She has made this day very special for us that we will never forget. She was always attentive, incredibly friendly and has made every effort to fulfill every wish. With her positive nature and professionalism, she made the experience even more beautiful. We enjoyed every moment very much and can recommend the organization 100%. It was a perfect day!

We had such a great time! Highly recommend boat number 5 — the captain was seriously the best. He was so nice, made the whole trip super fun, and even took a bunch of pictures for us so we didn’t have to worry about it. Such a legend. The free fruit was delicious and really refreshing. All the islands were absolutely beautiful, and everything was really well organized from start to finish. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Definitely recommend!

Very comfortable that is privately very punctual and attentive

Unfortunately, the excursion could not take place. We were at the pick-up point at the agreed time, but waited in vain just under 1 hour. On request we were told that another guest had impersonated us. This surprised us, as we did not see any other waiting parties, nor any vehicle from the organizer during our waiting time. On the positive side, I must point out that we were offered an alternative date and, after we preferred a refund, the refund of the amount was quick and straightforward. Hence at least 2 stars.

I’m sorry to say, but after experiencing other tours near Krabi I would not recommend this one. The boat driver was going super fast, we got constantly sprayed in the face with salt water. But primarily, the guide did not speak English. Other guides would talk about the place we were being taken to, and get off the boat with us to take pictures and show us round. This guide just stayed in the boat and didn’t add any value, which was a shame. Maybe we got unlucky with the staff selection that day.

Amazing experience. Went on a solo date for my bday and it was so good. Having the opportunity to adjust and decide on how many hours you get to spend on each beach as per your liking, is a plus.
