Khao Sok Cheow Lan Lake is one of the most beautiful places in Southern Thailand. We offer you to cruising the longtail boat on the emerald water in the midst of nature that surrounded by limestone mountains. Your trip starts with early pick you up at the hotel, heading to the Cheow Lan Pier. Then our tour guide will take care of you at the pier. Explore to the lake with our activities; cruising to the symbol of the lake at Khao Sam Kloe or Three Limestone Mountains, hiking in the rainforest, caving into the Diamond Cave, cruising for wildlife viewing, kayaking surrounded by nature, swimming, sun-bathing, and have lunch with Thai food and seasonal fruit at the floating restaurant. Our trip starts by picking you up from your hotel at Aonang, Aonammao, Krabi Town, Klong Muang, Tubkaek, and heading to the Cheow Lan Lake Pier. (The pick up time depends on the hotel locations, we will share with you in the email 12 hours before the tour start.) Approximately 2 - 2.5 hours for drive.
10:00 - 10:30 am. - Our tour guide (English speaking) will brief you on important information and get a ticket for you. (All Included) Next to the long-tail boat with our professional captain, cruising to the midst of nature surrounded by limestone mountains. You can see the nice scenery along the way to our rafthouse, sometimes there are wild animals showing up on the island. Enjoy our activities; kayaking, swimming, sun-bathing or relaxing at the rafthouse. Lunch with Thai food and seasonal fruits at the rafthouse. After lunch, take the long-tail boat to the Diamond Cave exploration and the fascinating shape of the limestone rock. And next, go to the jungle, time to hike around 1 km into the rainforest.
Cruising the long-tail boat to the symbol of the lake, you can take a nice picture with Khao Sam Kloe or Three Limestone Mountains, and back to the pier.
16:00 - 16:30 pm. Arrive at the pier and take a minivan back to your hotel. The program is subject to change depending on the weather conditions or safety and appropriate.

The pick-up time depends on the hotel's location, and we will confirm you 12 hours before the tour starts. Please check your e-mail. If you are from Railay Beach, you can wait at Ao-Nammao Pier only. Approximately 15-minute long-tail boat ride from East Railay Pier. The boat-taxi starts at 07.00 am. If you are from Tonsai Beach, we only offer to pick you up at Aonang Longtail Boat Service Club. Please come to the meeting point, and please be on-time on the traveling date. Our tour does not include breakfast. Please make sure that you have breakfast before your pickup time. Alternatively, you may order a breakfast box from your resort for your convenience. The program is subject to change depending on the weather conditions or safety and appropriate.

It was a really fun trip, especially because Mr. Ooh made sure we visited the places at the best times, when it was quietest, thus avoiding the crowds. It was also great to do this tour in a small group. He also explained all the history to us, which allowed us to learn more about the history of the lake's origins.
Super nice experience we had a very sweet tourguide his name is Ooh. Thank you Ooh. We were a group of 8 people that was so fine clay group compared to the other boats. He had calculated it perfectly with regard to being able to visit the places at the quietest moments. With this he avoided the crowds and we could enjoy all the places. I booked this tour for 4 adults and 24 hours before the tour received an email noting pickup at 7am. As a result, we had to skip the very good -and included- breakfast at the hotel and NOTHING except the 7-11 was open earlier than 7am for coffee. We ended up standing outside the hotel for OVER 40 minutes. Via app/text communiques the company rep accused me of not reading the email, which I took screenshots of and never apologized for being way late REGARDLESS of what time he claims he was supposed to arrive. I have never had a tour operator like this before and I've done a lot of tours. I have included screenshots of my communiques with the operator and the condescention was not lost in translation. They definitely made it worse when they could have simply apologized. The first half of the tour and day was a waste of time. They take you to a "floating restaurant" that is just a cheesy touristy restaurant with astro-turf where you have to hang out for about 2 hours, with the option to swim in a small sectioned area of the lake or kayak in the lake, akin to what you'd find at any city park. This area of the lake was not particularly scenic and the whole thing felt like a way to kill time to justify the charge. The second half of the tour was good - the next part of the boat ride was through the scenic area of the lake you see in the marketing photos and the trip into the cave was really cool, although the jungle trek in between the two was silly and pointless - basically just a 1/4 mile loop stop on an island back to the boat to make you feel like you had been in a "jungle adventure" as if you had never left your couch before. Cue the giant eyeroll. This tour would be better by cutting out half the time, half the cost, and improving the professionalism of the operators. The guide himself was perfectly pleasant though.

We had a fun day at Khao Sok with our guide Oh. He switched the order of the program so that we would do our activities with as less other people as possible. When we arrived at the first stop, we could hear the Gibbons in the trees. The view while kayaking was amazing so I definitely recommend doing this. I also recommend putting on sunscreen, definitely if you're a white white person like me. (I got a bit burned on the front of my legs). We did not see any monkey or snake, also not during the hike, which was a bit sad, but then again you have to take your chances with safaris like this ;) The hike was fun and adventurous, but maybe a bit short (although good enough for the program of the day). We had an amazing day. Lunch was super nice and the guide was good. I recommend bringing everything they list on the program page like sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and maybe also a cookie for the way back. It's quite a long day, definitely when you have the 2 hour trip in car added like we did. So you'll be tired, but happy. Enjoy!
We had booked a trip to Cheow Lan Lake in Khao Lok National Park. And it was just fantastic our guide Oh(?) was great. The park and lake are beautiful. Even lunch at Phutawan was very delicious
