Sieng was an excellent guide!
The tour was fantastic. Our guide Meng and our driver, Playboy (yes, playboy!) Made the trip extra special. Meng was so engaging from the start sharing some great history about both Cambodia and the lake. He was passionate, entertaining and full on energy. The village and experience on the water was fascinating. I was a little worried that as tourists we may be imposing on village life, but we were made to feel especially welcome. I feel privileged to have enjoyed such an engaging and beautiful experience. Thank you.
Bring a hat. Bring sunscreen. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Very informative tour learning the fishing culture, exploring the market. Our tour guide Heng taught us a great deal about the religious beliefs regarding the Hindu/Bhuddist religions. The island temple was beautiful.
AJ was an outstanding guide - warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to share his culture. His knowledge of the local people and area made the tour truly insightful. After seeing the village by boat and on foot you’ll experience an epic sunset and a genuine view into rural Cambodian life. AJ made sure all of our special requests were taken care of, which made the experience even more memorable. Our driver, Bo, was equally polite and welcoming, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey throughout. We highly recommend this tour - thank you for such an amazing and unforgettable experience!
Great with your own guide. Paul was very careful that we would have a good excursion. Highly recommend to book private guide. He even showed us the everyday life of the locals.
Meng and pretty face are helpful and funny lovely people. Told a lot and explained everything. You must have done this experience
This is a really great trip that gives you an insight into village life. Definitely recommend, our guide Sa was fantastic, his English was excellent and he paced the your just right for us.
An excellent trip with beautiful scenery especially the sunset at Tonle Sap lake. The visit to Kampong Phluk changed my perspective on life. I shall not complain from my lack but instead appreciate what I have.
This was a definite five out of five experience led by experienced and enthusiastic guide Jack and Driver Mr. Nal. The boat tour was fascinating, educational, and interesting, including the stroll through the floating village to see how the people there live. A highlight was an optional canoe ride through the mangroves, which was relaxing and beautiful. Jack was superb in his responsibilities as trip leader. He is knowledgeable, college educated and smart, but most importantly passionate about his country of Cambodia and its people. This excursion exceeded our expectations and is something we would do again on a return trip with family!
Mr. Chong did an amazing job taking us for a river tour. Thank you so much for a short time arrangement as well! This has been great!
