Our guide shows you the best places of the historic town of "Delft". During the wonderful town-walk you will see medieval monuments like the entrance gate and 2 famous churches. This walk back in time also shows you beautiful architecture from the Dutch golden age, like canal houses and the magnificent townhall. This picturesque town really has it all! The visit to Delft also includes a delicious lunch in a historic Canal House.
The tour also includes the world famous "Mauritshuis- museum". Home of numerous famous paintings from artists like Rembrandt and Vermeer (including "the girl with a pearl earring"). Even the location of this museu, right next to the 800 year old political center of The Netherlands, is spectacular.

Overall a great your. We take many private tours and Simon put this to at the top of the list. He was entertaining and informative.
This tour was the perfect combination of sightseeing options. First the windmills, where we beat the cruise ship crowd and had the windmill museum home to ourselves. ( which was great considering the small size of this home.) We went on a relaxing canal cruise here too.Then a beautiful walking tour of Delft, followed by a delicious lunch with our guide. Then on to the Mauritius museum and its fantastic collection of art .Our guide was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable and a great driver too!
