10/10 Expeirence! Naomi-san and Hisako-san were so kind, patient, and knowledgeable about Japan. The cooking experience was south fun, the food was delicious, and the quality of the kimono experience was so much higher than a lot of the other kimono rentals we explored. Would highly recommend for a fun, personalized activity.
Naoko and Hisako were so friendly and were kind enough to cater to my gluten-free diet. Definitely a great experience if you find yourself in Osaka. The two of them are great cooks and very informative!
This is the best experience we have had in Japan, these two beautiful ladies gave us such a personal experience in their home. The cooking experience was fabulous very hands on, we also got to eat everything. The kimono and photo shoot was such fun . The memories of these two ladies and the experience they gave us was 100%. They went above and beyond with everything. Highly recommend doing this.
Naoko and Hisako were really awesome hosts! We didn't realize it was a private experience until arriving, so that was a pleasant surprise. They quickly gave us a quick education about kimonos and similar garments. Then we discussed the cooking menu. They prepared a pot of rice. But we did the rest of the cooking! They walked us through the preparation of a delicious Osaka-style omelet, filled rice balls, miso soup, and marinated pork cutlet. All the food was delicious, and they sent us home with our recipe sheets. After the meal was over, they dressed us in our kimonos and did a very professional feeling photo shoot. It was a great experience. We would do it again to try learning new dishes. The hospitality of Naoko and Hisako was unmatched. My fiancé and I enjoy cooking, but I don't think you need any cooking experience to enjoy this.
The hosts were so nice and friendly! They were very patient and encouraging while teaching. They took the time to talk to us and explain everything that was happening as well.
This was an amazing experience! Naoko and Hisako were very friendly and did a great job teaching! English was good and food was very tasty. Excited to try making these when I get back home to the States (we made omelette, beef stew, onigiri, and miso soup)
We made very delicious food and the teachers are so patient. I enjoyed it very much and I would recommend joining this class.
Very nice host, detailed and clear course. Patient and chatty. Had a chill conversation during the class. Learnt to cook Misu soup, egg rolls, onigiri. Taste amazing as well. Can't imagine my friends can cook 😂. Strongly recommend to join.
It was an amazing experience :) The teachers are kind and instructions are clear. Also we could receive the recipe so that we can practice back in home with it!
Had a very good time with Hisako and Naoki.! They were very friendly and informative. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed this experience.
