Kimironko market is the busiest market in town. The entrance to the market is small but when you walk through the gates, it's a shopping paradise. The market is in a large warehouse complex, with four equidistant entrances. The entrance on the right hand side of the market is where the vibrant Kitenges fabric is located, while the entrance to the left is where the butchers and fisherman hawk meat and fish. With your back towards the Kimironko bus station, the official entrance to the market, this is where households goods and plastic buckets of every shape are sold awaits. The last entrance leads directly to used clothes and the market seamstresses. Locals from all over the city come here to stock up on fruits, vegetables, fabrics clothing, shoes, and general households necessities.
