Our driver/guide Faisal gave us a great afternoon, with many impressions of Omani life in the mountains. Highly recommended!
The owner of the company and the captain on board were very friendly and helpful and give us a lot of information about the areas surrounding the places we visited and the population and local projects upcoming overall excellent experience
It was so good not to be part of the cruise ship shore excursion car convoy doing the similar tour as us. It was good to only have 3 to a car so that each person had a window seat. And when we arrived at the spots to stop, we were the only ones there. It was so peaceful with stunning scenery. All 3 of us loved this tour.
You need good weather to enjoy Khasab for 2 days max. Highlights are drive up Jabal Harim and boat tour of the fiords and tour of the fort. We spent a night sleeping on deck of a Dhow under full moon and an early morning swn around the dhow before breakfast. The local were very friendly The corals are in poor shape. Warning flights to and out of Khasab can be cancelled at short notice due to cloudy weather and you may be stuck there for severakl days. Amore reliable way is a drive from UAE usi ng a hire car but you need a 4WD to go up Jabal Harim.
The tour guide was nice but didn't speak english. The tour was good and the duration was appropriate, the places we visited were worth it and we are glad we took this tour.
The views were incredible. The driver did a good job. Well worth it. Might have been less dramatic on a cloudy day but we were lucky. Bumpy at times but the driver’s knowledge is key to making the trip interesting.
Beautiful views, wonderful experience in a very special part of Oman. The friendly, experienced driver with whom we could have a good conversation in English and who could answer all our questions made us feel absolutely welcome and safe.
Great way to visit the mountain tracks of Musandam. Fantastic rocky landscape combined with great views. After the morning dhow cruise our guide arranged a place for some lunch. The 4x4 track was an adventure, leading to a bedouin valley and to Jebel Harim. Back on the tarmac we climbed again to the view over the gulf of Oman, Khor Najd. Friendly guide/driver and nice combination as a one day adventure into Musandam ( we stayed in Ras al Khaimah and drive to Khasab).
Value for money. The guide could'nt speak English very well. He was a bit too silent and not open for conversation. Besides that, it was a nice discovering trip. Organisation (pick up and drop-off) very good.
Great service all the way from the welcome in the hotel to the drop off. Mahmoud, the manager, was super helpful; the trip was seamless, the equipment that we requested were there (make sure you request before hand to ensure that you get what you need), the service was nice, the staff on the boat were very welcoming, the food was nice. Not to mention the amazing nature, and the beautiful dolphins who innately did a whole show to welcome us :).... One of the best trips I've had in a long time. Thank you for your hospitality.
