Maddy and Liam were our guides and they kept it fun and informative. There was thorough explanations of what to expect and how to make it happen. I was really impressed with their sense of fun and adventure and professionalism. Would highly recommend!
Very poor experience! Guides did not stay / create a group. All guide speech was too far away to understand. No focus on life except for whales. Let us off at dock and left group ! Only us and bus driver ! Store closed , no staff ! No water offered No snacks !
Your was extremely cool and beautiful. Katie was an excellent Kayak guide, and her environmental science background made the tour far more enjoyable.
Sarah was knowledgeable about the wildlife and Flora/fauna. Tour does pickup at the cruise dock which makes transportation easy.
This kayak tour is great! They have very nice stable kayaks for beginners and are in a pretty protected water. I got lucky and saw some humpback whales, as well as eagles, a seal, sea stars, and a school of herring. Jess and Haley were incredible guides who were able to help point out and identify the wildlife. The route was scenic and I loved every moment!
Excursion was wonderful. Our guides Bree and Haley were phenomenal. They took the time to share all the wildlife that we saw very patient with me as I was a first time kayak, and it was best trip I’ve taken. I would definitely recommend the excursion if anybody wants to go kayaking whether it’s your first time or experience.
We had a wonderful time kayaking with our guides "the Jessica's". They did an excellent job moving the group through gearing up and getting into the kayaks safely. They had a good knowledge of the area and what to look for, and pointed out the sea and land wildlife during our kayaking tour. It was the highlight of our time in Ketchikan and we hope to return again.
The view alone would make that paddle worthwhile. That said, Katie and Kevin were awesome. Patient with our nephews (10 & 12). Took care to make sure everyone was ok and safe and having fun. They had great general info on the area, the fauna and flora, and life as guides (I had to ask). And Kevin’s recommendation of the Asylum in town was perfect…my new favorite dive bar! Thank you
Jess and Rusty were fantastic guides and ensured we had an amazing experience. They took the time to explain the water conditions, the various marine and wildlife that we’d see, and some of the history of the area. Definitely recommend this experience when in Ketchikan.
We visited on a beautiful sunny day and had a great tour with Greyson. He was prompt to pick us up at our location in Ketchikan and happily dropped us back off at Ward Cove where our ship was docked. On this guided kayak tour, he went at a pace that was fun for everyone. We enjoyed seeing countless eagles, several sea stars, and a sea lion. He was knowledgeable about the area and had a good balance of a guided plan while also allowing us to set the pace. He quickly saw we were interested in wildlife and tried his very best to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. I would highly recommend this kayak trip. It was a highlight of our trip!
