Beautifully organized tour. Top driver
Great road trip, Michael was very informative. Only complaint is that the itinerary is misleading we thought we were visiting x 2 beaches Myrtos and anti samos. However we only visited anti samos (we did want to see Myrtos beach) The itinerary needs to be changed to reflect this that you only get to visit one of the beaches not both.
Hier ist eine natürlich klingende englische Version für GetYourGuide: We joined this tour during our cruise stop in Kefalonia and overall had a wonderful experience. Our first stop was Melissani Cave. The cave itself is absolutely stunning – the crystal-clear turquoise water and the beautiful light inside make it a truly unique place. The only downside was the waiting time. We spent about an hour in line for a boat ride that lasted around 15 minutes. However, this seemed to affect all tour groups visiting at the same time. It would be even better if tickets could be arranged in advance to reduce the waiting time. To avoid long queues at the next attraction, the guide cleverly adjusted the itinerary and took us to Antisamos Beach first. This was a great decision. The beach is beautiful, and the sunbeds were of very good quality and comfortable. Just be aware that it is a pebble beach, so water shoes are recommended if you have sensitive feet. The only drawback was that our time there felt a bit short, with only about an hour to enjoy it. Afterwards, we visited Drogarati Cave. If you have already seen large and famous stalactite caves, this one may seem a bit smaller. Nevertheless, it is still very impressive and definitely worth seeing, especially if it is your first cave experience. Overall, the four-hour tour felt quite packed, and a little more time at each stop would have been nice. That said, everything was very well organized for cruise passengers, and we were brought back to the ship on time without any issues. A special thank you to our guide, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We really appreciated the interesting stories and insights about Kefalonia throughout the tour. In summary, despite the waiting time at Melissani Cave, this was a very enjoyable and well-organized excursion with beautiful highlights and an excellent guide. We would recommend it.
Amazing trip!! Great to see all of the major spots of the island with such a knowledgeable tour guide!! The bus was comfortable, and we were left plenty of time to explore all the attractions we visited. Thank you for this experience!!
Fabulous trip our driver/guide Peter was fantastic friendly fun and took us to place he knew we would enjoy, and he was correct we had an amazing time , would highly recommend
We joined the Kefalonia: Melissani, Drogarati & Beach Small-Group Tour yesterday (April 21, 2026) and it was pure magic from start to finish. This was easily one of the best half-day excursions we’ve ever done in Greece — perfectly organized, incredibly scenic, and full of those “wow” moments that make you fall in love with the island. The small-group format made all the difference: intimate, relaxed, and no herding around like on big coach tours. Our guide and driver were excellent — knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about sharing Kefalonia’s natural wonders. They kept things running smoothly with great timing and even helpful tips along the way. First stop: Drogarati Cave. What a dramatic entrance! Descending into the cool, echoing chambers filled with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites felt otherworldly. The sheer scale and acoustics are impressive — we could have spent hours just admiring the formations. Comfortable walking paths made it easy to explore at our own pace. Then came the star of the show: Melissani Cave and Lake. This place is straight out of a fairy tale. The sunlight pouring through the collapsed roof onto the impossibly turquoise water is breathtaking. The short traditional wooden boat ride across the lake was serene and magical — the reflections, the clear water, the peaceful atmosphere… we were speechless (and took way too many photos!). It’s one of the most beautiful natural sights I’ve ever seen. We finished with a wonderful stop at the beach (Myrtos area vibes), where the dramatic white pebbles, towering cliffs, and electric-blue Ionian Sea created postcard-perfect views. Even in April the scenery was stunning, and it was the perfect way to round out the morning. Everything ran like clockwork — comfortable transport, seamless pick-up (super convenient from the Argostoli port area), and just the right amount of time at each stop without feeling rushed. April turned out to be an ideal shoulder-season choice: mild weather, fewer crowds, and that fresh, green island beauty everywhere. If you’re in Kefalonia, especially arriving by cruise or staying near Argostoli, do not miss this tour. It’s the perfect mix of natural wonders, geology, mythology, and island scenery in one unforgettable half-day. We left feeling like we’d truly experienced the heart of the island. Highly, highly recommended — we’d do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you to the team for an outstanding experience. 🇬🇷💙
Thank you Olivia! You were great, and we spent unforgettable moments with you! I really recommend for everyone who wants to have a special experience
