With the world-renowned and historic destination of Kealakekua Bay just minutes from our point of departure, the Captain Cook Exclusive is a personal, exciting, and efficient way to see the Bay named one of the world’s best snorkeling locations. Kealakekua Bay is a 315-acre marine sanctuary that boasts incredibly protected waters year round making it the best place in Hawaii for beginning snorkelers. After a full hour of snorkeling in the crystal clear waters directly in front of the monument to Captain James Cook, you make your way back to Keauhou Bay along the South Kona coastline. Your Captain maneuvers our custom-made vessels into the sea caves at the base of Hualalai, hugging the coast and detailing the culturally significant and geologically fascinating features along the way. Watch for dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and even herds of thousands of goats! If you plan on snorkeling while in Hawaii and want to see what few do, this is the tour for you.

Great experience our Captain Bee and Tay were amazing and so much fun!!! We did see dolphins a couple of times! Beautiful location lots of fish... a great day ❤️❤️
The captain cook adventure was amazing. Beautiful snorkeling, captain cook bay was fabulous and we had it to ourselves with our small group. The dolphins gave us quite a show. While all of that was amazing it was really the staff that made it the best experience. Bea and Tia made the experience. They are fun, friendly, knowledgeable and awesome captains. I highly recommend sea quest. We also did the manta ray experience. While the wild animals didn’t listen (haha) and make much of an experience the staff for that was also amazing. Libby, Rick and Emma were amazing and knowledgeable and made the experience worth it. We will definitely be returning to sea quest when we come back to big island.

All around a great experience with lots of hospitality. Good length of time to snorkel, about an hour, and the boat ride was pleasant. Very scenic area too, with lots of interesting fish.

Great experience, and I would highly recommend the three hour tour with Seaquest. The RIB boat was awesome, and the crew was fantastic. It was my family’s first time and we will be booking with them again when we return to the island.

This was a great experience one of the highlights of our trip. Captain Kevin was friendly and helpful. The smaller boat means less people to deal with. They timed the departure so we arrived at the bay before the larger boats showed up, about the first 30 minutes of our hour was just us and a family that had hiked in. When we got back on the boat Kevin had fresh fruit, other snacks and drinks ready for us. On the way back to the harbor Kevin was able to find a pod of dolphins that chased the boat and played in our wake. The kids loved watching them swim with us.

Terrific fun! The guides we had were very knowledgeable and experienced. The bay in which we snorkeled was pristine, beautiful, and teeming with all sorts of marine life, including dolphins! It’s a fun experience and well worth the price.

Everything was as advertised. But better than advertised. A delight. I’m 86 and they provided me with all the floaters and devices I didn’t Even know I needed. Snorkeling became easy.

We took the Captain Cook snorkel trip to Kealakekua bay, and it was WONDERFUL!! The smaller group was perfect👌 absolutely ideal. The captains (Nat and Grace) were so friendly, accommodating, fun, and insightful, with lots of history and local facts throughout the trip. The boat itself was awesome, the water was incredible, and the snorkeling was absolutely phenomenal! Plus the snack assortment was a great variety of local Hawaiian goodies along with some common favs. I cannot recommend this outing enough!! We would have stayed the whole day and gone again and again if we could!! Ten out of five stars from us 🤩
