KAZBEGI GUDAURI ANANURI One day group tour From Tbilisi!

Description
On the way to Kazbegi, we stop at the picturesque Zhinvali Water Reservoir, and then visit the Ananuri Castle on the Aragvi River. The castle was the scene of numerous battles and served as a shelter for the local population during the wars. Ananuri is considered one of the most beautiful historical monuments of Georgia. At an altitude of 2200 meters above the sea level, on the southern side of the plateau of the Greater Caucasus Range, and near the Cross Pass, there is the Gudauri Ski resort. The Panorama Gudauri is a monument to celebrate the friendship between Georgia and Russia. Stepantsminda is a small town. The main attraction here is the Church of the Holy Trinity – the Gergeti Monastery that is located at an altitude of 2170 meters under the mountain pick of Kazbegi. Due to its location on the top of a steep mountain, surrounded by very harsh nature, the church became the symbol of preservation of the Georgian relics.

Jinvali Water Reservoir, also known as a lake, is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s—a wonderful place to take amazing pictures.
Ananuri fortress dates to XVI-XVIII centuries and it is situated on the foreland by the river Aragvi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. This is a perfect place for landscape photography, there are amazingly beautiful views of the fortress and Jinvali reservoir together. The fortress remained in use until the beginning of the 19th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site program.
Both White Aragvi, Black Aragvi have their own color, they do not mix together. There is an incredible place that attracts many tourists in the east of Georgia, the white Aragvi and the black Aragvi have their own color, the rivers do not mix up and look like a black-white stream.

Jvari Pass Travertine Natural Monument is calcareous sinter or tufa in Baidara River valley (2197 m). It was formed when carbonate minerals precipitate out of ambient temperature water. Travertine in some places is covered with a thin layer of transparent water on the white surface of the slopes where intensive development process is still ongoing.
Stepantsminda stands out on the map of Georgia, not just for being just eleven kilometres from the northern border of the country, but also due to the fact that one of the oldest crossroads between Europe and Asia passes through the town. It is not known when Stepantsminda was founded, but a treasure hoard from the 6th-5th centuries BCE was discovered here.
Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village. The church's location is the right bank of the Chkheri river under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level. Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century, and this is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet Era, soviets prohibited religious services, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. The church is an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. You will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley from the church. Due to the church’s isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature remains Georgia's most iconic tourist attraction. You will be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, which is 5047 meters above sea level.

Enjoyed the trip, the views are incredible, guide Vakhtang, so to speak, charismatic and interesting, I recommend!
It was a well-organized tour. The tour guide led us well throughout the day. There was enough time to look around and enjoy. The bus is a bit cramped, especially for tall people like my husband. The bus driver safely drove us through the region. It is pleasant not to have to worry about anything. The lunch break at the restaurant was also very good. The kitchen was perfect! Thank you!
Highly recommended this tour, the locations visited the sea, the scenery is fascinating, there were different tastings. At lunch we stopped at a local restaurant on the way, how delicious it was!!!
David our guide was so knowledgeable and caring, he provided us with interesting information about each location and kept the day as it was planned on time. The driver Bato was also friendly and helpful. Kazbegi itself was the most beautiful place we have been in georgia so recommend this tour strongly
This excursion has been excellent. The guide David and the driver Bato are very nice and professional. The view we saw was incredible. We enjoyed the day a lot with many laughs.
The host was great, he put a lot of effort in. I cannot really say anything negative - the experience was good.
Guide Levani Beautiful scenes and great value
One of the best trip I had ever had. Huge thanks to the guide levani who told us lots of interesting stories and facts about georgia and kazbegi.
Guide Levani is very caring, interesting and informative. We are very happy with this tour and the optional visit to the mountain top church. Thank you very much, Levani for making today worthwhile and enjoyable!
Levani is incredible! I've visited over 40 countries and honestly Levani's tour was my favorite ever. I think Levani's ability to switch fluently between three languages to make every passenger feel comfortable is outstanding! Big fan of Kazbegi and the locations in the tour were wonderful--plenty but not overwhelming. Very well worth the money. The driver also made me feel safe, thanks!
