Fantastic day cooking traditional Kazakh cuisine!

What a fantastic way to spend a few hours in Almaty - cooking traditional Kazakh food with the wonderful Akbota and learning all the little tricks to getting it just right and the culture behind it. Together we made Kuyrdak, Baurysak and salad - all delicious and enjoyed together at the end! Everything was organised really well by the lovely Elnar who picked me up from my hotel, dropped me off afterwards and acted as interpreter along with giving me loads of recommendations for Almaty and beyond. If you're at all interested in cooking and how to cook local cuisine I can't recommend this highly enough either on your own or in a group!
