Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. Knowledgeable and friendly guides… and we were lucky to go out on a perfect morning. Lots of dolphins all around us, I will never forget this trip, and I would do this again in a heartbeat. Great value for money, don’t hesitate, book it!
Love everything in this review. Thank you and enjoy those memories it really is super special out on the water.
The cost of this trip is well worth it. We spent an hour and a half on the water with multiple guides who really knew what they were doing, we got to see so many dolphins. I was nervous going in to it because I was by myself and although I have kayaked before, never in the ocean with the waves but the guys who work there make sure you are paired up with someone and did a safety briefing before and made sure everyone was safe and felt comfortable going out! It was honestly such a cool experience and I can’t wait to go back during whale season. The guides who take you out were a lot of fun!
Thank you we are so happy you experienced the awesomeness of The Bay. We really look forward to seeing you over whale season, it really is something else! I will pass on your kind words to the guides
Quite physical and you should not be prone to sea sickness The guides were great, with a sense if humour and took great care of us. Lots of dolphins and a beautiful 150 year old turtle! This was the experience of a lifetime. Thanks!!
How amazing is nature it really does blow you away sometimes. Thanks for paddling with us we are stoked you enjoyed your experience.
The guys were nice and helpful initially, explained everything well. I felt safe most of the time. One of the guides went off to surf the waves a couple of times. I felt that was a bit us safe. They seemed a bit bored. Threw a few Timtams at us at the end and disappeared . Did not even say goodbye. Bit dissapointing really.
We’re glad to hear you found the team clear and helpful. That said, we’re genuinely sorry the experience didn’t meet expectations overall. Your comments will be addressed directly with the team. Thanks for paddling with us and taking the time to share your feedback.
Relaxing, fun beautiful trip with friendly and knowledgable instructors - we didn’t actually see any dolphins so we get to come back for free anytime- it didn’t actually matter as we had a lovely time anyway, well worth a couple of hours of your Byron morning- I strongly recommend!
Thanks so much for your review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such an enjoyable morning out on the water with our team — it really is a beautiful way to start the day. We look forward to welcoming you back with our wildlife guarantee, and hopefully next time our resident dolphins will make an appearance 🐬 Thanks again for the recommendation, and we hope to paddle with you again soon!
This was an amazing experience. As a solo traveller, I was paired with a guide who knew a lot about the area and was lovely to kayak with. We had a leisurely paddle, saw dolphins playing and even a turtle. I also had the luxury of going to surf a wave with the guide. In the process we had dolphins surfing the wave mere metres from us. A truly incredible experience. Topped off with Tim tams on the beach at the end of
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a memorable experience. It’s great that you enjoyed your paddle, encountered dolphins and a turtle, and even got to share a wave. It was a pretty special tour that day. Tim Tams on the beach are always the perfect finish, and thanks for paddling with us.
Amazing we saw so many dolphins. Friendly staff. Value for money. Although they didn’t take any photos of us.
Thanks so much for the great feedback! We’re thrilled you got to see so many dolphins—that’s always a highlight—and that you found the team friendly and the experience good value. We really appreciate your note about photos as well. While our guides do their best to capture everyone during the tour, there are times when this isn’t possible, and we sincerely apologise for missing you on this occasion.
Great experience - they are pretty guides were very competent and informative - looked after us really well - felt completely safe in their hands. We saw turtles and dolphins up pretty close to really make for a special experience.
Thanks for taking the time to review us. How awesome is it to see wildlife ... in the wild!! Thanks for paddling with us we are super happy you enjoyed your experience.
Loved every minute. Endless dad jokes and tim tams. Only saw dolphins from a distance but still great
We’re stoked you loved every minute — even if the dolphins were playing a little hard to get that day! As for the endless dad jokes… we do apologise (but also absolutely do not 😄). Thanks again for paddling with us and eating tim tams with us 😊🐬
A bit strenuous for a beginner but the guides ate very attentive and make sure everyone is safe and looked after
Stoked you enjoyed your experience, it is so great to be out on the water. Unfortunately, our wild dolphins are sometimes elusive, but we really hope you use your free return tour in the future and we see you on the water again. Thanks for paddling with us and for taking the time to leave a review
