Meeting your guide at Mongoose Junction and launching the kayaks from a beach in Cruz Bay, you’ll paddle across the turquoise harbor and enter the waters of the Virgin Islands National Park, passing scenic coastline and beaches on your way to serene Scott’s Beach. There, snorkel over a coral reef, seagrass beds, and turtle habitats, where you’re likely to spot sea turtles, Caribbean fish, and stingrays in their natural environment. After relaxing on the beach, paddle back to Cruz Bay with memories of a one-of-a-kind marine adventure. We took the ferry from St. Thomas to St. John. Meeting place was a short walk from the terminal. We were driven to the launch spot. Our guide was great. He recently moved to St. John. We kayaked to Honeymoon Beach. We opted not to snorkel since we spent the previous day snorkeling. It was a bit more difficult paddling back but doable. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend.
It was very windy so it was a tough paddle at times. Kenny was very knowledgeable and pointed out so cool marine life. Not exactly what I expected but everyone got a workout and enjoyed the snorkeling. Saw quite a few sea turtles too.
This was amazing seen sea turtles, squid, many other species, Kenny and Stephanie were amazing. I even got to dive down about 20 feet into the water to got a closer look at this huge sea turtle. We saw stingrays, sea urchin, coral reef the British Virgin Islands and Kenny Chesney’s house from the ocean
This was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. Kenny was a fantastic guide and kept our group organized and moving smoothly. We were able to see a huge variety of fish and also saw 3 sea turtles. Many of the harder to find species we were able to see like a moray eel and octopus were due to Kenny’s knowledge of the area and species present.
Had an amazing time with Ana and Alonzo. A memorable yet teachable moment on the water. From kayaking and snorkeling to overall fellowship a must to do! Virgin lslands Ecotours Outfitters THE BEST! ❤️🧡❤️🚀

This was a great way to start our vacation in St. John. Pat was incredibly knowledgeable, curious, and considerate. He was able to read the group and see that we had snorkeled before and were up for an ambitious trip. We kayaked out to Honeymoon bay, where there was plenty to see! He brought the GoPro Out and took great photos of the animals we saw, as well as great action shots of our family. The equipment was great and the kayak seats specifically were the most comfortable we have ever used (and we have bad backs!). You could tell he loved his job because every time we saw a new animal, his enthusiasm was genuine and infectious. Thank you, Pat, for making my Mom's 70th a day to remember!

The team with Virgin Islands Ecotours were awesome! They were very accommodating; they were willing and able to switch the date and type of experience at the last minute plus refunded the difference in price (which I was not expecting due to the last minute changes). My guide, Kenny, was amazing! Very knowledgeable and I definitely saw way more sea life than I would have snorkeling on my own. 100% recommend!
