Shout out to Keoni for being an awesome guide! He went over Snorkel 101 with us.. which was great for our 9 y/o.. and talked to us about what we should expect during our hour in the water. We saw all kinds of fish, coral and got to swim next to so many turtles! It was incredible and he was so knowledgeable. Great energy, aloha vibes. 10/10 recommend. Ask for Keoni!
Our Guide was knowledgeable & attentive, making sure we were safe & educated using the equipment. He made it fun!
The guide was very informative and helpful. He would point out different fish and found an eel lurking out of the reef. He also encouraged us to explore on our own.
Really enjoyed the whole experience. Our guide explained the whole process in great detail! I am a beginner in snorkeling and the guide made sure we felt safe and asked us multiple times if we were doing okay!
Our guide was Kioni and he was outstanding! He did an excellent job of explaining the flow of the tour and what we should expect. He went at the perfect pace for our group and found turtles and lots of other fish for us to see. We definitely recommend Kioni and his tour! This tour was in an area that was protected so we did not deal with major waves. This beach area is ideal for people like us that have some experience but only snorkel once a year on vacation. We stayed in the Princeville area and this location was so convenient for us. Anini Beach is a gem! And so is this guide and the tour too!
Our group ranged in age from 7-66. Sophia was so patient and knowledgeable. She spent time showing us the amazing sea life and answered every question the kids had. This was such a fun and memorable experience for our family! Thank you!
This tour was definitely the highlight of our 2 week vacation. We went at 8 in the morning. The water was very clear and the temperature perfect, even without the added layer the company offered to provide. David was our guide. He gave us plenty of instructions and a safety lesson and showed us photos of fish we may see. We were thinking that we might be lucky just to see a half a dozen different types of fish. We saw almost every kind he told were possible. Most of our group saw about six sea turtles. They swam very near us. I would have been happy to stay there all day.
Snorkel at poipu beach and see turtles and fish
Shelby was a wonderful guide who made me feel very comfortable in the water. We saw so many beautiful fish!! I totally recommend doing this tour while in Kauai!!
This was the first time me and my siblings have gone snorkeling, and it couldn't have been better. Keoni was polite, friendly, and full of interesting facts about the sea life we saw. A big highlight in particular was when he led us to a sea turtle hideout. I definitely was really satisfied with the length of the trip as well -- not too short, but not so long that we got exhausted. I definitely recommend this for people curious about snorkeling (but keep in mind you should already know how to swim first). Thanks again!
