Itinerary
Kathmandu Durbar Squire which is situated in the heart of old Kathmandu city at Basantapur, it never fails to impress first time visitors with its ensemble of palaces, courtyards and temples built during the Malla period. The Durbar Square includes the Hanuman Legends say that Swayambhu was conceived out of a lotus blossom that sprouted amidst a lake that once spread over the Kathmandu Valley. The biggest picture of the Sakyamuni Buddha in Nepal sits on a pedestal on the western limit of Swayambhu. Behind the ridge is a temple committed to Manjusri or Saraswati - the Goddess of learning. Chaityas, statues, and holy places of Buddhist and Hindu divinities fill the stupa complex.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites also known as Hanuman Dhoka Square/Basantapur is one of the main attractions in Kathmandu Valley. The name Hanuman Dhoka Durbar is originated from the statue of Hanuman set up by the King Pratap Malla at the passage of the regal royal residence in 1672 A.D. There are several temples, shrines, courtyards, and a palace inside the Durbar square that reflects the art and architecture of the medieval time.
TLocated 8 km toward the east of downtown Kathmandu, Boudhanath is a standout amongst the most imposing tourist spots in Kathmandu. The 36-meter-high stupa of Boudhanath is one of the biggest stupas in South Asia. With incalculable religious communities encompassing it, Boudhanath is the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal.
Devoted to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath is one of the four most vital religious sites in Asia for devotees of Shiva. Built in the fifth century, and later redesigned by Malla rulers, the site itself is said to have existed from the earliest starting point of the thousand years when a Shiva lingam was found here. The biggest temple complex in Nepal, it extends on the two sides of the Bagmati River which is viewed as heavenly by Hindus.

We had The best trip through Katmandú and Bhutan, everything went as planned, we had a great time, the services were perfect, great guides, we are very thankfull. ✨🙏🏼✨✨
Highly recommended! We did this as an add on after Everest Base Camp. Dil our guide is extremely knowledgeable (Masters degree) and Som our driver was great in keeping us comfortable. Dil is amazing! We learned so many cultural and historical facts from him - he's passionate about his work and a great teacher!
We had Birodh as our guide for the entire day. He was a great guide and explained everything very well and was not afraid of answering questions. Would definitely recommend!

I had a layover en route to Bhutan, and this was a fabulous way to spend the day, in beautiful December sunshine. My guide Birodh really took his time at each site to explain the history and culture/customs, answered all of my questions, and gave me ample opportunity to take all of the photos I wanted. We also had a very pleasant stop for drinks and snacks overlooking the iconic Stupah, and included a bonus stop at the 'monkey temple' - plenty of time to watch the entertaining macaque families... A very worthwhile, highly recommended tour

The tour gave a great feel of the city of Kathmandu which is big in size, our tour guide was friendly and helpful to answer any questions I had, they made the first day in Kathmandu an enjoyable experience
I would recommend this operator as well as the tour guide Birodh. Always in touch with since the day before coordinating my pick up. How was on time. Very explicit on his teachings of the city, monuments history and more. Loved to had him as my guide.
Our guide Birodh was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and also very caring. He was intuitive enough to keep us (the group) safe throughout the tour. On the other hand, the tour itself ticked every box on my list. Nepal is beautiful. The temples and the peacefulness within the temples were much needed for me. So glad Birodh took me to the Pashupatinath temple and helped do a bit of prayer. That was the main highlight of the tour, for me. 100% recommended
What can I say except my group had a fantastic tour of Kathmandu with a very knowledgeable Birodh!!!
Great day exploring the historical sites of Kathmandu, Birodh provide great details on the historical background of the Buddha’s, explain in great detail the culture of Nepal, and recommend a great restaurant for lunch. It was a busy day travelling throughout Kathmandu. Great company and highly recommend booking your day tour with them.
If you want to hit the four or five major Kathmandu heritage sights in one day, this is your tour! Exactly what we wanted and without the hassle of navigating public transportation. Birodh has extensive historical and religious knowledge that would satisfy even the most curious Hindu scholar! We got a great overview of the sights visited, but Birodh did an excellent job explaining some of the historical and religious connections among such a diverse and ancient civilization. Of course, the locations visited are of themselves a sensory overload of color, sounds, smells, and taste. Birodh took us to really cool places where there didn’t seem to be other tourists and that was an added benefit to the tour because it felt like we had a more unique experience, especially with the lunch. All in all, a great experience.
