Nothing special. City tour around Karlovy Vary because the hotspring/water is outside the building. The pick up and drop off is not included. The lunch and the dessert is included but not the drinks but it's OK. When the tour was finished, i gave our guide a tip but I don't know if our guide got offended or was joking because of the remarks after giving the tip.
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad that you enjoyed your Karlovy Vary tour and that the included lunch and dessert met your expectations, even though drinks were not included in the package. We apologize for any inconvenience caused at the end of the tour regarding tips. Our guides always appreciate kind gestures from guests and we hope that any comments were meant lightly. Thank you again for sharing your experience - your feedback helps us improve! Silvia
All perfect was on time, the food was good , Paulina our guide very well, I Will recomend this tour .
Thank you very much Silvia
Overall is a great tour, beautiful city. Cons: company may re-think lunch options-food was horrible, tasteless and overcooked and a restaurant wasn’t good. I’d rather pay more for food, but had it at a place with a view and experience beauty of the city. As far as guide, I wish it was more historical or may be funny/interesting things about the city, rather then “this Hollywood star ate here and this one ate here”… I wish company tells ahead of time that you will be drinking water, so bring your bottle or prepare buy a special cup, or the fact that there is a pool open to public and if you are good on time you might be able to dip in a pool. Overall, if you have seen a lot in Prague, absolutely visit Karlovy Vary.
Thank you Viktoriy, We are sorry for the food.
The outing itself was fine. The guide, although speaking little Spanish, tried to make himself understood. The problem was in the public address of the microbus, which you could hear very little. We stopped for an hour at the Moser glass factory, which I found totally dispensable and uninteresting. Free time at Karlovy Vary was scarce. It would have been preferable to use the time of the visit to the glass factory, to be able to see the village more calmly and with more free time. As for the food, it wasn't bad
We booked a tour as we thought it would be too difficult to navigate seeing the crystal factory with a trip through the town all in one day without staying overnight. Sarah was a very good guide and did a great job with the nine of us on the tour. She explained what we were seeing and was very conscientious to make sure we were all included. The lunch was good - we both had the trout. What we did not enjoy was having to hear everything twice (English plus Spanish). Would not book another multi-language tour in the future.
The guide was boring, he didn’t talk to us apart from a few minutes in the bus route. He left us alone to walk around in Karlovy Vary and didn’t show us the town. Waste of money!!
I went with Martin Tours in a small bus with 24 other tourists (and that was large enough) to Karlovy Vary. It took around 2hrs and 15 min to arrive with a stopover at the Moser glass factory. A quick look around the shop and then a tour through the actual working factory where we could see the teams of glass blowers at work. This was fascinating. A quick drive and we arrived in Karlovy Vary itself and had a very tasty 3 course lunch in the restaurant of a hotel where we had a room set aside and served promptly. A half hour guided walk around main part of Karlovy and then we were allowed to wander around ourselves for an hour and a half, which was enough as it is not very big and the shops are all the same. Lots of jewellery shops selling garnet and you could sample or buy the spa wafers famous in the area. Don’t forget to purchase a bottle of Becherov liquor which is made in the area. A very nice apperitif. Also lots of places selling the quaint porcelain cups used to drink the mineral waters from. Anyway, it was an enjoyable day. We arrived back into Prague just before 7pm. Enough time to see things and the guide was more amiable than the other tour I had been on 2 days prior. Unfortunately you had to sit through 3 interpretations but that was ok. Very informative. Perhaps the English could have been slightly better as sometimes I didn’t understand. Otherwise I recommend seeing this beautiful part of Czechia.
The city center of Karlovy Vary is very beautiful and conveys an atmosphere of incredible tranquility. Micaela, our guide, provided interesting information during the bus ride and guided walking tour upon arrival. He was very friendly throughout. We had free time to tour on our own, take pictures, buy souvenirs and have a beer. The bus was a bit narrow, awkward to get off and on. Otherwise, it has been a very pleasant experience.
The 1 day tour was stated as 9 hours but our group was short changed by an hour. Tour began at 10 am and ended just before 6pm in old town square. Lady guide was not able to communicate well with our small group of 13 people and lost 5 people was during walking tour at Kalovy Vary. She looks serious & stern and her description of the place was too brief. We were given less than 3 hours to walk around the place including lunch - not included in the tour. Not enough time to see the whole place as it was too short and quite rushed to take lunch and take nice photos. No time to visit any shop there.

Everything was perfect. Lunch was nice as well.
The bus and restaurant were PACKED if that's okay With you.
The glass factory was interesting.
