Kanazawa Private Walking Tour with a Local

Great tour with very friendly fluent English speaking guide . We opted for the 3 hour walking tour which was the right amount of time for us !

Monse was a delight. We kept a nice pace through highlights of Kanazawa, and it was like taking a walk with a friend excited to show off their city. It was a perfect way to arrive in town.

The tour company was really great about coordinating details about the tour since we booked last minute. It ended up being a private tour since we were the only people there. The tour guide was very good as well and was very accomodating.

Spent a wonderful morning walking around the beautiful castle gardens. Our guide Yukari was extremely knowledgeable and was able to share the history of the area which made for a memorable tour.

Great experience with Emi. She was so patient and kind with us. It was a pleasure to learn about Kanazawa culture and history from such a kind soul. With perfect English, she shared many great stories, facts and traditions with us. So fun!!

Griselda was a truly wonderful guide on our walking tour of Kanzawa. We were lucky to have her all to ourselves so conversation flowed with our own personal questions about the area. She was so flexible in letting us stop for coffee at a small local cafe where we had our highlight of the tour , meeting and talking with the owner who's been running it for 45yrs. A brilliant tour , can HIGHLY RECOMMEND it and Criselda herself 5⭐️

Unfortunately only a matter of hours before our tour we were advised by our guide that the tour was cancelled. While our guide apologised and explained a family issue prevented her from undertaking the tour, it would have been better customer service if the company attempted to find another guide or rescheduled the tour instead of just announcing the tour was cancelled, leaving us high and dry. The company did propose a full refund which was appreciated.

It's such a great experience to discover a new location through the eyes of a local resident. My tour guide, Yukari, was very knowledgeable about the history of Kanazawa and made the tour interesting according to what I asked.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Our guide Chris was incredible!! So knowledgeable about history, art, architecture, nature the list goes on. Showed us the heart of Kanawaza in 2 hours! Gave us lots of recommendations for the rest of our trip too. Cannot thank him enough and cannot recommend more highly!
