Momo is a very passionate who has learned us a lot about geisha’s & ninja’s! It was fun!
It was an amazing tour. The explanations were really detailed and thoroughly covered all aspects of the culture. Momiji was an amazing guide, she was really friendly and warm. It was overall a fun, not too long and interesting tour. The sites as well were not too crowded and really enjoyable.
It was an excellent tour and the guide, Momo, was very nice. It also includes stops where you can find beautiful and funny souvenirs. Overall I enjoyed it very much and would recommend.
if you truly want to waste your time - going on a useless long walk in the smallest and furthest geisha streets of all kanazawa and to learn absolutely nothing - please join this tour. you will waste 2 precious hours of a one day trip instead of learning something valuable or having an interesting conversation about history or local culture. the only thing ive learned in this useless walking tour is that the guide Once Met a Geisha, when out with her father. and that sometimes they use make up and sometimes they dont. feel free to join, im happily leaving for Kyoto tomorrow trying to forget this experience. i truly reccomend the Caligraphy lesson from another local provider - truly a gem! good luck to you all!
Fantastic tour with an amazing guide, Momo. She was very knowledgeable and very interesting, and lots of fun. The Ninja Temple was superb, and Momo’s knowledge about local history and culture was amazing. It has been my favourite experience in Japan so far! We encountered geisha also!
Momo was great! Ninja temple was worth the visit. She things well and was friendly. Maybe would be good to do a tour of another Geisha district as this one was a bit small.
Momo presented the Ninja and Samurai background well. The ninja house is only in japanese though (external guide), so that's not great. You're given an English guide, but without explanations and you have to read in shade. The Geisha district looks nice, but you might not get any real performance, depending on the season.
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed Momo's explanations about the samurai and ninja history. We also appreciate your comments regarding the Ninja Temple. We understand that the Japanese-only guided tour inside the temple can be challenging for international guests. We will continue looking for ways to improve the experience and provide better support in English. Thank you as well for your comments about the Geisha District. We hope you enjoyed its unique atmosphere, even though seeing geisha performances depends on the season. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on another tour in Japan!
We had a superb tour with our tremendous guide Aiko. So generous and kind. She provided interesting and pertinent information. Fantastic visit !!!
Incredible visite with Aiko, with the Nina, samurai and geisha.
