I don't have enough room or time to list all the wonderful ways that Kaz and our driver made today's excursion a 10 out of 10! Kaz went out of his way at every opportunity to make our day memorable and attuned to exactly what we wanted. This day was completely individualized to our group of 4 people, including some special needs that we had. Before our trip Kaz was in touch with me numerous times, verifying exactly where we wanted to go, when, what we wanted for lunch, arranging that for us in advance, and showing up with a printed itinerary for us first thing in the morning. All day long we knew where we were going, how long it would take until the next stop, and what we would see there. Kaz did just the right amount of talking: he didn't belabor a point with unnecessary details, but did tell us enough to allow us to more fully appreciate everything we saw. Kamakura shouldn't be missed. We have been in Asia since May 6, about 3 weeks now, and still the places we saw today felt unique and gorgeous, not "just another temple." The grounds and temple of the first one we saw were extremely beautiful. The Hase Temple, our second of the day, known for its hydrangeas, was stunning. You MUST walk up the stairs to see the hillside in glorious bloom overlooking the seaside. The Big Buddha, our third stop, is worth seeing, as is the garden at the Imperial Palace, our stop after lunch. We then squeezed in the Neon District, which was a fun complete change of pace into the modern hectic world after a day spent in peaceful paradises. I can't recommend this trip enough, and as a matter of fact, have booked Kaz and our driver for tomorrow also to experience a whole other side of modern Tokyo. We're absolutely looking forward to another exoticly beautiful day!
Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful and detailed review! We are truly delighted to hear that your day with Kaz and our driver was such a memorable experience. Kaz takes great pride in creating personalized tours tailored to each guest’s interests and needs, so it means a great deal to know that you felt well cared for throughout the entire day. Kamakura is indeed a very special place, and we’re so happy that the beauty of the temples, the hydrangeas at Hase Temple, the Great Buddha, and the contrast of Tokyo’s vibrant Neon District all left such a strong impression on you. Your vivid description perfectly captures what makes this tour so unique. Thank you as well for recognizing the preparation and communication before the tour. We believe that thoughtful planning and flexibility are key to creating unforgettable experiences, and your kind words truly encourage our entire team. It was our absolute pleasure to host your group, and we are especially grateful that you trusted us again for another tour the following day. We hope the rest of your journey in Japan is filled with many more wonderful memories. Thank you once again for your heartfelt recommendation. We would be honored to welcome you back anytime in the future!
