Itinerary
Yunokuni no Mori is a theme park village dedicated to Japanese handicrafts. Traditional-style houses spread out over a wide swath of forest. Masters of their respective craft teaches visitors to make their own pieces. The houses also display works made by local artisans. The types of crafts available span many disciplines. Visitors can design Wajima lacquerware, adorn tableware with gold leaf, paint Kutani porcelain ware, or make their own Japanese paper. Other houses contain cooking experiences that include cookies, cakes, and soba. The on-site restaurant, galleries, and tea house bring the region’s distinct culture to Yunokuni no Mori guests. Art experiences can be arranged depending on availability on the day.
We will pick you up by a private car at your accommodation or any preferred place in Kanazawa.
The natural rock formations at Natadera Temple have been revered as a sacred place for well over 2,000 years. The cliffs and caves were shaped by volcanic eruptions and eroded by ocean currents. They tower above the temple’s mossy forests, traditional-style gardens, and carp-filled ponds, earning Natadera a star in the Michelin Green Guide.
The 1.3km-long footpath along the banks of the river connects these bridges. The start point of the footpath is Korogi Bridge, the furthest upstream of the three bridges. Passing cedar groves, sparkling waterfalls and luminous clearings, the path offers splendid views at every season. You will find Kakusenkei Kawadoko along the way, a pop-up riverside cafe near Ayatori Bridge. Operating on clear days, this charming cafe with simple tatami seating and bright red parasols is the perfect place to stop by to relax.
Visit Yamanaka onsen hot springs district. Enjoy shopping souvenirs and local products. Or have free foot spa and relax.

We had the pleasure of having TK as our tour guide in Kanazawa. He is not only an excellent tour guide, but also a top-notch professional photographer who is kind, patient, and friendly. While we did a lot of walking and exploring sites around the city, TK always guided us good spots for him to take photos for our memories. We are very delighted with the finished products as they all look truly incredible photographs. We are impressed with the quality of all photos. We wouldn't be able to produce photos of such high quality by ourselves. But thanks to TK, these incredible photos are made possible. For a short 1-day trip, TK did his best to help us get the most of the city with perfect pace for our family of 7 including 2 small children. TK was attentive to our wants and needs and is someone you can talk to on any topic as well, an absolutely nice person. For anyone going to Kanazawa and wanting a trip a bit out of the ordinary with amazing photographs as souvenirs, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. And we will definitely book a tour with TK again when we revisit Kanazawa in the future.
Thank you for the great review! It was my pleasure of showing you around. Hope to take you to other places next time. :)
We were very happy with this tour. The itinerary was very good. It covered mostly places that are less visited by tourists. We especially like Natadera Temple where the scenery was so breathtaking and the ambiance was so serene. The temple is definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited in Japan. If you're looking for less crowded tourist places in Ishikawa, I highly recommend this tour. His vehicle is new and very clean. He drives very smoothly and made the journey comfortable.
