Itinerary
During the tour, you will see three different waterfalls and will have the option to swim and cliff jump from each. The Un-Named waterfall: Pools upon pools of crystal clear waters falling onto one another, the un-named waterfall is never the same, but ever changing. The high calcium deposit that runs through this fall calcifies fallen leaves, twigs, and even living ferns that dare to lounge upon the cool flowing waters. The Twin Falls: While the Twin-falls both cut a course through the same granite barrier, they stand boldly apart in both size and features. Rio-Frio Waterfall: The Rio-Frio waterfall is the ideal waterfall to bathe under! Untouched waters tumble off a cliff of approximately 75Ft high and into a large open pool, ideal for bathing and splashing into. And don't forget to lookout for wildlife in this vast lush rainforest!

The guides were funny and the food was really good!
This was a highlight of our trip. It was relaxing, yet beautiful, yet fun, yet adventurous. The perfect combo. It was a family run tour and I loved that. They made us feel welcome and we enjoyed their company. The lunch was absolutely delicious as well. The water was refreshing and just an overall amazing experience.
It was a nice, relaxing pontoon boat ride with three other people, 5 participants and 2 guides. Be advised that it is a day long trip on bumpy roads (nothing they can do about this), and you will hike to a waterfall. The waterfall hike is doable but if you are not in the best of shape it could be a challenge. Do not let this stop you as the scenery and wildlife is magical to see. The guides are amazing and they take care of you by helping you along the path. The lunch was prepared on the pontoon while we were busy swimming. Very tasty barbecue and roasted vegetables with tortillas. The owner and the guides do a wonderful job ensuring your safety on the boat, assistance getting to the boat by providing a car down the steep hill and back up the hill at the end of the trip). I recommend this adventure for anyone that wants to experience a laid-back jungle adventure.
We took a multigenerational group of 9 on this trip and everyone had a great time. There is truly something for everyone on this excursion- floating in a tube, kayaking into a waterfall, short hike to a waterfall, exploring a beach area and observing wildlife- and more. The guides are knowledgeable, personable and fabulous chefs as well. This was a memorable day!
This was such a fun adventure. Our guide Giovanni was awesome! Took us to three different waterfalls where we were able to swim relax and take many pictures. Then he prepared a traditional Belizean lunch right on the pontoon for us. Grilled chicken, sausage, veggies, potatoes, beans and homemade tortillas. There were refreshments too. It was a full day tour surrounded by nature and wildlife and we enjoyed it very much.
We had a great pontoon adventure with Giovanni. He was kind, informative, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. He took us to really nice places and cooked great food for us. Overall, it was a fun experience, and we would recommend booking this excursion.
This is one of my top experiences in San Ignacio and in the whole country of Belize. It's a lovely day with delicious food, some of the best tour food I have ever had.
My husband and I joined Giovanni on the jungle and waterfall excursion on his pontoon boat. First I have to say that he was very personable and had a great sense of humor. During the trip we saw howler monkeys, crocodiles and a whole wide variety of birds including toucans! To begin we went on a short hike to a beautiful waterfall and swam in a crystal clear pool. From there we headed upriver as he prepared lunch aboard the boat. We then made it to a second site and docked while eating lunch directly in front of a triple waterfall! After lunch we were able to dive off the second story of the boat into the deep pools beneath the waterfalls. Giovanni even climbed up the rocks and jumped off to join us! We then were off to make a quick stop to see the dam that creates electric power for much of Belize. Next was the final waterfall of the day with calcium rich pools and crystal clear water complete with tiny fish that swam all around us. My husband and I both thought the trip was amazing and well worth making a day out of. Giovanni really knew the area having grown up on the very piece of land we launched from. He knew a lot of the cultural history of the waterways and was great at helping us imagine the significance the river highway system provided to inhabitants over time. We would both recommend checking this out and give it a solid 10 stars. Thanks Giovanni!
Marconi and Giovanni were the best hosts. A beautiful peaceful day on the river with some exciting falls adventures.
It was great…... Would highly recommend…….,.The guides were all excellent…….. thank you all so much.
