This was the worst tour experience in our cruise vacation. The tour operator never put our name up and never looked for us until after we were left waiting for half an hour into our designated tour time, shortening an already very limited time in Zanzibar. Sad part was they were pretty much in front of us all that time. We texted and called them several times on WhatsApp but they did not respond. Because of this, we just didn't have that extra time to see Mtende Beach. We had to choose the first two places that we definitely want to see. Then, we had to opt for a place closer to our port terminal for our last stop, a 5-minute photo stop at the Stone House. No apologies from this tour guide and no partial refund (requested) was given to us so far. I do not recommend going with this tour operator. Their lack of communication can really set you back.
The plant doctor at the village and the children at the school. The monkeys were adorable . Mtende Beach was beautiful.
Jozani forest full of monkeys, lots of photo opportunities. Village tour unique experience, up close experience for the mangrove swamp! Mtende beach magical. Beautiful landscape, breathtaking. Memorable! And of course a very pleasant and knowledgeable driver, friendly and helpful to the max! Thank you Ahmed!
