Description
This small group overland tour with camping accomodation offers you insights in Botswana culture, history and also includes a safari part. The tour takes you from Johannesburg/Gaborone to Maun on a budget. On the way you visit Khama Rhino Sanctuary, the Orapa Diamond Museum, Makgadikgadi National Park and the Okavango Delta. All activities and transfers are included during this tour. This tour can be done in both directions and is often combined with our Highlights of Botswana Tour (Maun to Victoria Falls).

Starts in Gaborone, Botswana. If you choose the option with start in Johannesburg, then we book your flight ticket from Johannesburg to Gaborone. The tour can also be done in reverse with start in Maun.

The Rhinos Diamonds and Okavango Delta Tour is Jam packed with sites, and activities. I would almost recommend this be a 6 day tour with an extra day a goo-moremi to relax and decompress. Our safari driver was excellent!!! out in the bush he knew exactly where to get us so that we could see so many animals. We even ended up seeing Painted African Dogs!!! The overland to Gaborone can be grueling on day 3, but we were able to be at the Boteti River Bed for the beginning of the zebra migration. The city tour providers were extremely knowledgeable and everyone we met was friendly and we always felt safe. 5 stars for the tour, 4 stars for the pace, but that was our decision, and I'd recommend Kalahari Breeze for any tours in the future.
