Our guide Gabriella was terrific. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. The problem is the structure of the tour. It is advertised as a three hour tour and at most it was an hour and half, and we walked slowly. We only entered one location which we arranged in advance. Everywhere else was just a walk-by, so we didn’t get to see inside. The topic was I interesting, but it would have nice to go inside the buildings, which we learned is permitted just not arranged for on this tour.
Dear Stephen_M, Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback. We’re truly happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with Gabriella and found her pleasant and knowledgeable. She’ll be delighted to know she made a positive impression. Our walking tours are designed to focus on storytelling, context, and key highlights, with interior visits included only where clearly specified in advance. We understand that going inside more locations would have enhanced your experience, and we genuinely appreciate you sharing that perspective. Your comments are valuable to us as we continue refining our tours. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on another Rosotravel experience soon. Regards, Rosotravel Team
The tour guide was good but we only got access into one of the synagogues. We walked around the Jewish area for over 2 hours and saw the exteriors of 5 synagogues but it was very disappointing that Viator didn't arrange access into more of the synagogues.
Dear Jeffrey_S, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased that you valued the guide’s contribution. Access to active places of worship is sometimes subject to institutional policies, religious services, and day-of-visit decisions made independently by the sites themselves. As such, interior entry cannot always be guaranteed. Our intention is always to provide a thoughtful and informative experience that reflects the history and significance of the Jewish Quarter, whether through interior visits where permitted or through detailed interpretation from the outside. We appreciate your perspective and will continue to ensure clarity in how tour inclusions are communicated. Regards, Rosotravel Team
