Don’t do this food tour!

Th tour guide was very friendly but super young and didn't really know a lot. When he arrived he was not prepared to take people on the tour that had been to Mahane yehuda. My daughter knew more than him. After sampling two foods he said that’s enough and we should take a break. We proceeded to head out of the market. Basically it was a waste of my money.

Operator response

We’d like to clarify that the guide on this tour is fully licensed, highly experienced, and very knowledgeable. Despite facing guests who arrived with an attitude and continuously challenged nearly everything that was explained—stating they were locals and had grown up in Jerusalem—the guide remained professional, respectful, and calm throughout the entire experience. Our guide delivered the tour as designed, shared accurate historical and cultural information, and handled a difficult situation with patience and professionalism. We stand by our guide and the quality of the experience provided.
