Oedolgae Rock is a famous natural rock formation on the southern coast of Jeju Island. Standing about 20 meters tall, this lone basalt pillar was formed by volcanic activity and coastal erosion. It is surrounded by stunning ocean views and dramatic cliffs, making it a popular sightseeing spot. According to local legend, Oedolgae resembles a giant mourning an old love, adding a mystical touch to its beauty. The area is also known for scenic walking trails, offering breathtaking views of Jeju’s rugged coastline.
Seongeup Folk Village is a well-preserved historical village on Jeju Island, showcasing traditional thatched-roof houses and cultural heritage. Once a government administrative center during the Joseon Dynasty, it offers visitors a glimpse into Jeju’s past. The village features ancient stone walls, Confucian shrines, and local crafts. Visitors can experience Jeju’s unique traditions, architecture, and way of life.
Seongsan Ilchulbong, or Sunrise Peak, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Jeju Island’s most iconic landmarks. This volcanic tuff cone was formed by an underwater eruption over 100,000 years ago and offers stunning sunrise views. Its crater, surrounded by lush greenery, contrasts beautifully with the deep blue ocean.
At Seongsan Ilchulbong’s coast, a haenyeo (female diver) performance takes place every day at 2 PM. However, it may be canceled in case of bad weather

We had a lovely day with Lyn. Her English is impeccable (sadly we were no help with our 3 phrases of Korean). It allowed us to learn so much about the history of the island and the beautiful spots that we were able to visit with such a short time to explore. She customized the day based on what was important to us to see and gave us other recommendations to explore on our own.
Chindo is a great guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. He helped us to find foods that we wanted and took us shopping in the pouring rain, carrying our umbrellas and catering to everything that we wanted to do. He helped so much and was very fun to talk to. Highly recommend him to everyone. Great experience!
I had the absolute pleasure of exploring Jeju with Minji Kim from DALTRIP, and it was one of the most memorable trips I’ve ever taken! I was actually traveling alone as my husband had to work. So from the very start, Minji brought Jeju to life with her incredible knowledge of both the island and wider Korean history – she truly is a history genius! This was a private van with a tour guide willing to customize your experience. Our guide Amy was fantastic. She reached out in advance to ask our preferences. When we had a heavy rain day - she told us how to get umbrellas at our hotel for free which was a great start to our day. Every member of our family liked Amy. Despite the heavy rain, Amy crafted a tour that our family loved - most thought it was a favorite experience of our entire trip. We had a mixture of experiences on our tour - museums, temples, beaches, food, and shopping. Amy was flexible with us, had great recommendations and allowed us to go at our own pace. She took us places we would have never found ourselves and helped us navigate the areas that we may have not otherwise seen. This was a last minute booking for us and we are so lucky that Amy was available.
During our tour, our guide Yoon made sure to ask what we wanted and did his best to accommodate our wishes. When my husband started feeling unwell during the tour, Yoon adjusted the itinerary to ensure we could complete the tour safely and happily. We are so grateful for his kindness.
