Step into a majestic underground world! Recently reopened to the public, Manjanggul Cave stands as one of the finest and most magnificent volcanic lava tunnels on the planet. Safely walk through this awe-inspiring UNESCO World Natural Heritage site to witness spectacular lava stalactites, ancient natural structures, and the world’s largest known lava column. It is a cool, mysterious, and unforgettable start to your Jeju exploration.
Make your way to Woljeongri beach, you can sit in a nice local cafe and enjoy picturesque landscapes enjoying coffee. The emerald color ocean with a breeze will refresh you.
Haenyeo refers to female divers who dive into the ocean water to gather various shellfish, seaweed, etc, without using any underwater diving equipment. When diving underwater, a haenyeo carries only a pair of goggles, a round ball-like tube to keep her balance, and a basket to put her collections in. Such women involved in the fishing industry are known to be scattered all around Jeju-do, Korea, Japan, and Russia. – Jeju-do has established the Jeju Haenyeo Museum to introduce to the world the unique activities and culture of Jejudo’s haenyeo female divers. Exhibition Hall 1 is entitled “Haenyeo Diver’s Life” and has a restoration of a traditional haenyeo’s home and her meals. Also on display, to show a more realistic view into their daily lives, are the various utensils used by female divers.
60mins Trekking – Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. Located on the eastern end of Jejudo Island, there is a huge crater at the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The crater is about 600m in diameter and 90m high. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, it looks like a gigantic crown. While the southeast and north sides are cliffs, the northwest side is a verdant grassy hill that is connected to the Seongsan Village. The ridge provides an ideal spot for walks and for horse riding as well. – The sunrise from the crater is magnificent. Also, the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak surrounded by bright yellow colored canola flowers in the spring is truly a sight to behold.
At 2:00 PM, witness a rare, 20-minute live Woman Diver (Haenyeo) Performance Show right by the cliffside beach. Watch these legendary UNESCO-registered female divers plunge into the deep sea without any breathing equipment. Right after the show, embark on an invigorating trail up to the summit of Seongsan Ilchulbong to capture panoramic views of the entire eastern coastline. (Note: The 20-minute live show is subject to cancellation depending on weather or sea conditions).

One of the best tour that we had and we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to end. Paul, our tour guide, really made this tour fully enjoyable throughout the day with several nice surprises beyond our expectation. We learned much from him the history and culture of Korea and JEJU. We had a great time with Jin exploring the mountain and learning about the female divers. The lunch was great, we especially enjoyed the mackerel. Since this tour was in the winter the weather was very cold so dress appropriately if you plan on doing this tour in winter but it was still very much worth it. We also enjoyed the foot spa after the hike up the mountain.
We used Core travel for three days to cover the main sights of Jeju . The east,south and west tours were well planned and we ate something different for lunch on each tour . Henry was a patient and knowledgeable guide.
Jin was our guide the day we visited Jeju East. It was very comfortable in the small group van. We truly enjoyed the history, hospitality and planning provided by Jin.

Really nice experience. All went smooth from boking to hotel drop off. We got good information, good service and the guide speak good English. We like he ate with us so he shows how to eat and other table customs. Ending the tour with a foot batch was ideal after all the walking.
Our tour guide (Jin) and driver (Mr. Kim) were great. They were punctual, patient and obliging. Jin was also very generous in sharing his personal stories so that we could better appreciate the Korean and Jeju culture. We're giving 4 stars because we think the itinerary can be improved. Given that it's billed as a UNESCO tour, 60 minutes at Seongsan Ilchulbong was really too rushed, and 90 minutes at Ilchul Land was way too long.
