Jeep Sunset by the Algarve Mountains
Description
The Sunset Safari begins in Albufeira at the end of the afternoon, where the jeep will meet you to enjoy the tour accompanied by experienced guides who will share with you all your knowledge about the region, from traditions, history, culture and the beautiful landscapes of the Algarve. The main highlight of this safari is the stunning sunset, from the top of the mountain, with a beautiful panoramic view. Enjoy this magnificent color show accompanied by this unforgettable moment with a glass of sparkling wine offered during the tour. Along the way, we pass through rural paths between various fruit tree plantations, crossing villages where we stop to taste local products such as honey and medronho "Fire water".

Itinerary
Meeting point and departure for the tour. From Albufeira we will leave for the tour, we will find the traditional Algarvian houses. On the way we will see irrigation systems used by the former farmers of the Algarve and many of them still from Roman times.
Visit to the castle of mediaval time, the castle of Paderne is one of the castles of the Portuguese national flag. Castle from the Moorish era, when the Arabs still dominated the Algarve. In this place we will enjoy the beauty around us.
Passage by Villa de Paderne, traditional Villa Algarve where we can see its church and regional architecture.
Visit to a farm of a local producer, who opens the doors of his farm to try the regional honey and the local meadows. A place where the farmer has his own products. A visit to this fabulous local farm tells the presence of some animals that live on the farm. (place where you can buy local regional products without commitment)
Stop ON WE can enjoy the water sources. River with crystal clear water where we can refresh and swim in its waters. (Possible when there is water in the springs)
Passage by Villa de Alte, where we can once again see a traditional Villa Algarvia. Local with regional and local trade, where we can also see the magnificent flag of Portugal painted on a mountain.
Passing through the Algarve mountains, where we can enjoy the wonderful view that the Algarve has for us. Stop for Sunset in the mountains.

My kids loved the ride in the back of an open jeep (actually an UMM truck) and we were absolutely blown away by the gorgeous sunset A gazillion photos, selfies, pics, snaps,, etc. were taken. The driver was super friendly and accommodating making the entire experience easy to enjoy.
I wanted something memorable to finish off our holiday and we definitely got it! Ru was an amazing host and was witty and informative, whether it was talking about local vegetation or the more historical aspects. It was an exhilarating experience.
It was an absolutely great experience! We had Rui as our guide and amazingly there were only two of us on the tour. He told us a lot and it was very funny! We even got fresh oranges from the tree and the spot for sunset is awesome! Absolute recommendation and worth every cent!
This is the second tour we have taken with Sergio, who is the owner of the tour company and yet again we are glad we did. On this occasion we were able to get entry into the castle, which was closed on our last tour. Sergio is a natural guide and as well as having a lot of knowledge he makes everything fun. Due to the fact that there has been very little rain in the area this year, the waterfall was dry but he filled the gap with other points of interest and we got to visit the Windmill also. We also visited a small farm where we purchased the most fantastic Honey. We feel the trips are excellent value as well as great day out. Thank you Sergio
With Fred we had a very nice tour along many cool places. He knew a lot of the region and could tell things in a fun way. We had a nice day.
We, 18 year olds, with 4 experienced a wonderful day with guide Fred, we were picked up at our apartment where we stayed, which was free. We learned a lot about the region and its history, which sounds boring, but was very interesting, even for us. It was a pleasant ride and the guide was super, thank you very much for this. If we had the chance, we would definitely do it again!
Had a morning trip with Wife and two teens. All of us totally enjoyed the trip. Pick up for our hotel was on time. And our guide for the day José who was great and very informative. We visited the ruins of an old castle, working restored windmill, and even had time to stop off for a refreshing dip. All the time travelling off the beaten track through the countryside. Recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see the real Portugal away from the seaside towns.
Fabulous day out. Half day jeep safari tour to medieval castle ruins (amazing views of countryside), tasting local produce of almonds, honey and oranges from rural farm, beautiful picnic & swim area, and spectacular views of the Algarve countryside from highest point in the hills. Amazing day out for myself and teenage son. Miguel our driver and tour guide made the trip....really nice guy, and very informative. It was like spending the day with one of your close friends. Great character and an asset to your company. Highly recommend this tour.
