Our jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park was wonderful, not only because the scenery also because the McCarthy’s jarvey and the horse Molly made our ride special. We learned about the history of the park and many interesting things. It was great and I highly recommended.
The horse and carriage ride was perfect!
Damien was our guide for this lovely ride into the Killarney National Forest. He took the time to text and let me know that he was running late. His dad invited us into the Inn while we awaited his arrival. Once we got going, we enjoyed a leisurely ride to Muckross Abbey. We were able to explore the ruins for about 20 minutes before heading back into town. Damien kindly dropped us off next to our hotel. I would have loved to have seen a bit more of the National park. Still, what we did see we thoroughly enjoyed.
Wonderful tour guide, personalized, fabulous scenery through UNESCO National Park. Quiet location away from the crowds
Our guide Damian was great! He gave us a lot of information, was professional, and entertaining. Would highly recommend.
Jay treated us to a lovely drive to what remains of Muckross House and we enjoyed exploring the building and grounds. His passion for his horses and the local history was evident in our time together.
This was a fantastic tour with Damien & Daisy! We arrived a little early and were entertained by Damien’s father, who told us about some Irish history, gave us some tips on local hot spots and played us a few tunes on his accordion! We headed off through the National Park, which is gorgeous. Damien is very knowledgeable about local history and knew all the best photo spots. The stop at Muckross Abbey is a great addition to the tour. Thank you McCarthys, we had a great time!
Amazing Jaunting Car tour to Muckross Abbey! The ride was beautiful and the horses are so well taken care of. Because of flight delays, we couldn’t make our original time. They were so great working with us and finding a new time! We’d love to come back and take another tour!
We had a wonderful experience! Our guide Damien and beautiful horse Molly took us to Muckross Abbey, with plenty of views of the mountains and lakes along the way. Explored the Abbey, which is magical. A very fun experience and learned so much about the history in the area. Definitely recommend!
We had a simply wonderful experience with Damien, our jaunty driver. He was a handsome young man with excellent personality making our ride exceptional in every way. Damien took great care in his horsemanship and demonstrated a genuine love for his work, Ireland and his horses. He was very knowledgeable and engaged in exceptional conversation, cultural elements and history of the beautiful Killarney National Park. His horses today was Duke, an exceptional specimen at a full 18 hands high. Damien and Duke were outstanding ambassadors and we loved the tour very much. We highly recommend this tour and our driver!!!
