My mother in law suggested this experience and we booked as a group of 6 with 4 of us having never tried Macha before. The staff were great with English even for my dad who has bad hearing, were very knowledgeable and polite and welcoming. Unconventional for sure, but would strongly recommend this to travellers. It is quite close to Dotonbori and the "thrift shop" districts in Osaka, so it was great to bundle into the day as a bit of a change of pace.
