Japanese home cooking class in Osaka Umeda
Description
Using ingredients and seasonings that you can easily make at home, you will make a typical Japanese home-cooked meal together. (partial demonstration) You can also choose from a menu of specialty dishes unique to Osaka. I will also give advice on how to shop at Japanese supermarkets. All materials used are those that can be purchased at Japanese supermarkets and we have recipes that are easy to make. You can choose from 5 different menus. menu ① Ginger-grilled pork, Rice ball, Rolled egg omelette and Miso soup ② Japanese stewed meat and potatoes, Miso soup, Rolled egg omlette and Rice ball ③ Takoyaki and Japanese dessert ④ Bento(lunch box) and Miso soup ⑤ Japanese style hamburg, Miso soup, Spinach(leafy vegetables) with sesame dressing and Rice ball ※ Each menu comes with water and Japanese tea.

This was an amazing experience, from booking to finish a complete session. The class was awesome, the ladies were fantastic and patient teachers. Our group of five (you wouldn’t want any more than 5) had a great time and learnt some new skills… Highly recommend this experience as you won’t be disappointed, also, don’t eat much before you go, you cook a very generous lunch!
We booked this experience because we love Japanese food and wanted to learn how to make it ourselves, and it easily became the highlight of our trip! Hisako and Naoko were extremely kind and welcoming and offered us dozens of Japanese home cooking tips that we would have never found out by just following recipes online! We had so much fun cooking and constructing bento boxes and will absolutely use everything we learned in the future. If you are in Osaka and love food/cooking, we cannot recommend this experience enough!
My partner and I had a wonderful time learning Japanese home cooking with Hisako and Naoko. The two hosts were incredibly friendly, warm and kind, making the experience truly enjoyable. We chose the ginger pork meal with miso soup, tamagoyaki and onigiri, which was all delicious. The recipes were provided in both English and Japanese, so we can recreate the dishes at home. We also had a lot of fun making the dessert. We highly recommend this class to anyone looking to learn Japanese cooking.
We made the stew with rice balls, miso soup and omelette. We gladly accepted the option to make dessert in addition (mochiart with ice cream). It was a great experience !!!
This class was so much fun! Naoko and Hisako were so sweet and they taught us how to make authentic Japanese food, and we put together bento boxes! We got to select a bento box and chopsticks to keep! I will go back again!
Hisako and Naoka were very good teachers! They were knowledgeable, patient, and great at breaking down the cooking into very easy steps. They also print out the recipes and instructions for you to take home. They also provided us with great recommendations for other local attractions. I highly recommend taking a class with them!
Naoko and Hisako's cooking class was such a fun and unique experience! We learned to make many dishes and are excited to cook them at home. Everything was delicious. They explained things very well and were so kind. The place was very neat, clean and cute! I highly recommend this experience. It was very memorable for us.
The workshop was great! I learned how to make all the things I wanted, they also agreed to change the menu a bit for me. Since the workshop I cooked some of the dishes for friends, and I'm making miso soup almost every day! The cooking techniques are simple and very effective, making it easy to cook great Japanese food. The two instructors were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great cooking experience! Ofer

Very lovely and kind people, I would highly recommend this class! They also gave us other recomendations for things to do around Osaka and even gave us an extra recipe. The food was delicious, and Hiseko and naoku were very clear and supportive with the instructions. The food can easily be made at home :) loved it!
