We leave the place you stay to Indonesia miniature park of Indonesia normally 45 minutes until 1 hour, then we will spend time in go around the area, inside of miniature park you can see a lot of Indonesia pavilions in total provinces is 34 right now with different houses and Its culture, sometimes there are a lot of festival, event and gathering from inter-island which you Will see in this park within 1 hour or less. After that we drive to central Jakarta visiting museum, Chinatown and old town.
Still inside miniature park area, beside of pavilion, also museum Indonesia is interesting to explore. This museum concentrates on the art and culture of various ethnic groups that inhabit the archipelago and form the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia. This museum has a Balinese architectural style and is decorated with various fine and beautiful Balinese carvings and statues. This museum holds a collection of various arts, crafts, traditional and contemporary clothing from various regions in Indonesia. In third level of museum as a place of introducing Indonesian New Capital (IKN) concept and guide bring to explain those. After explore the museum and miniature park we proceed you to north passing by Central Jakarta.
After Miniature park of Indonesia we just exit the area, back to Central city within 1 hour or less and we stop at the restaurant. You have to try the local food, served by medium class not so street food or Batavia cafe is recommended by your additional expenses, We just spend time for relaxed before continue to other experience. Proceed you to Batik shop.
Arriving at Batik shop you can select to buy. Batik is the work of the Indonesian people which is a combination of art and technology from the ancestors of the Indonesian people. Indonesian batik can develop to an unmatched level both in design/motif and process. Various batik patterns containing meaning and philosophy will continue to be explored from various customs and cultures that have developed in Indonesia. After that Proceed to Old town.
After the miniature park, lunch and Batik, we just pass by in sightseeing the modern mosque in Jakarta called Istiqlal design by famous architect of Indonesia against cathedral was build formerly and it is one of a symbol of tolerance and harmony between the religion Continue By passing.
Still in sightseeing passing by the old Catholic church was formerly standing before istiqlal, It was built on a plot owned by a Dutch nobleman named de Kock that was purchased with the help of the Catholic colonial commissioner-general, Leonardus du Bus de Gisignies.
We are also passing by The presidential palace and snap or take picture at MONAS as a capital and a landmark of Jakarta with 80Ha area in front of presidential palace.
Driving to the Old town by passing Chinatown in 30 minutes and you will see traditional market with a lot of local things. This market is a largest in city and also call Pecinan area in Petak 9. Discover the vibrant cultural and culinary hub of the city's Chinese community.
After arriving the Old town Batavia Jakarta, we snap or take some picture of the main canal and old building along like you are in Amsterdam, see the historical building of the neo - gothic or European chinese style, and as a Dutch city hall called Batavia or fatahillah garden. Wander through the charming streets of Jakarta's colonial center. And the last program to Old harbour.

This is an excellent tour to understand the culture of Indonesia. You get so much information on the nation and its rich history from the past and recent in one day! Many thanks to our knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating tour guide Fitri! There was three of us traveling together for business and this was our one free day before our work started. I did the cultural tour of Indonesia. We visited all the major sites and attractions on Jakarta. Ivan was an excellent tour guide and Cek my driver was also fantastic. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history and culture of Indonesia

Haidar was an excellent guide. He explained that the “Miniature” park was built by Suharto for his wife after she visited Disneyland. It includes examples of typical houses from many different regions/islands of Indonesia. It is a lot like Epcot at Disney World, but focuses on Indonesia. At our request, we also stopped at a puppet maker who showed us how the famous Indonesian shadow puppets are made. Short visits at the Old Town, Independence Monument, etc. The flexibility of the private tour compared to the bus tours offered by the cruise line and lower price make this a much better option. Our visit was during Ramadan and the access road to the port (we were on a cruise) was gridlocked and we ended up walking the last half-mile to the ship past dozens of stopped tractor-trailers loaded with cargo containers.

We are traveling as a family of 5. Our guide Fitri and driver Wawan gave us a memorable and enjoyable tour of Jakarta. For a half day tour, they packed in a lot for us to see. The highlights for us are visits to the wayang shadow puppet maker and master, the national monument, old Batavia, pelabuhan Sunda Kelapa and Taman Mini. Because it’s a private tour so it’s quite flexible. We were able to spend a bit of time at the puppet master studio and learned the process of making a puppet. Wayang puppet was designated to be a UNESCO heritage. Our guide Fitri has a deep knowledge of Jakarta and Indonesia, its history and culture. She brought into life Jakarta’s long history of Dutch rule. She is also a very friendly and warm person. And I don’t even know how Wawan can drive in the Jakarta traffic. It’s quite amazing to see him maneuvering the sea of cars, motorcycles and people! The tour is perfect for everyone who has a short time but want to see a quick overview of Jakarta. I highly recommend it!

We had booked a private half-day tour of Miniature Park Jakarta, because we wanted to see Indonesia in an educational way. A beautiful park with museum where you could have been for hours, if we could have had that time. An unknown reason made that according to the guide's list we had to see many sights in a very short time, which ultimately resulted in sitting in the car for a lot and a long time, stuck in traffic jams and ultimately being able to see little of the planned spots. We had booked for the miniature park, but unfortunately we were too short to see everything properly. Our guide Situ together with the driver were very knowledgeable during the tour and a nice and cheerful company. They have made our day in Jakarta one of the many unforgettable days. 🙏

Enok is a wonderful guide. She share so much about her country. Our driver, Indra was very safe in extreme traffic and a rain storm. We were taken to all the interesting sights to give us a glimpse of the Indonesian culture. They were able to work within the time we had from our cruise ship. An excellent way to spend our time in Jakarta.
