Botanical garden is located in the center of city and is adjacent to the Presidential Palace complex. The area is 87 hectares and has a collection of 15,000 species of trees and plants. The geographical of Bogor which call rain city, inside the garden you can walk or rent the electric bicycle, scooter, mini car or normal bike. There is more activity to explore botanical. Drive through up the hill to see the different area on along of the street the house of local and market and rice field. Mulyaharja's superior tourism is located on a stretch of rice fields set against the majestic Mount Salak with organic rice as its icon. This attraction is called Visit Mulyaharja. Arriving the waterfall can see group of monkeys. *The tour duration counted by pick and drop also depend on traffic

We drive to Bogor, we will spend 1 hour from your place or hotel, then proceed to explore the Botanical garden in Bogor. The garden is in central city, the garden is 84 ha areas with tropical atmosphere, we just walk to the garden where the presidential palace inside the garden also as the main garden at Lake "Danau" gunting similarly with the scissors and the presidential palace also in the area in tight guard by army which is the ring of president, but we still close ahead to take photo and one of the colonial's building was designed by colonial's and still used by presidential residence and conference. After that proceed to do activity such walking, sightseeing or bicycling. Spending in 1 hours The proceed to a beautiful scenery to waterfall with visiting many places.
In the middle of the day, we will spend the time at local restaurant with a view "Salak mountain" and medium cuisine in Bogor city. While there you can spend time also for coffee, Juice, coconut and coffee in your expenses. Then drive to waterfall and visit to wooden puppet.
After lunch or waterfall is "Wayang golek or wooden puppet maker" and it is one of the heritage of sundanese culture. One of the maker is a generation by his father. * The Puppet maker is your choice rather than add your time and experience to visit. * You can buy or not is the choice as the souvenir of sundanese culture. * Gamelan is one of the instrumental music from Java and related to puppet and this optional at puppet.
About 1 to the waterfall of bogor after Botanical garden, there is another lesser known place that offers additional views, namely mulyaharja rice fileds in Bogor regency. These rice terraces are located in quite close to the fantastic mountain. While the rice terraces of Cibeureum village aren't quite as leveled as the rice terraces of Javanese, the scenery around the place is similarly astonishing. It is recommended for you to visit the place either in the morning or evening, in order to get the best view out of rice terraces sceneries
Drive through up the hill within 1 hour, after arrive we walk along the pine tree with see monkey's family or group then walking through to the stony Alley looks like canyon. The waterfall has 3 side you can choose for swimming or just rejuvenated soul and mind. Driving back to city follow Ciomas road, there is a lot of local things you will see and may see the Hindu temple in other road and it was designed by the hinduist (opsional). And also comeback the same road within 1 hour then we driving back to the place you stay within 1 hour.

The guide and driver were friendly and experienced and willing to alter the itinerary order - Thank you. The Bogor Botanic gardens and waterfall were excellent. The Rice fields and lunch were good. I was surprised to see tourists abseiling at the waterfall - maybe that option could have been offered for my tour or future tours??

The day exceeded our expectations: the botanical gardens were beautiful, the waterfall walk exciting (remember your flipflops although they can be purchased at the sitr as well), monkey family adorable, rice fields serene and lunch in the middle of the fields was delicious.

It was a lovely experience driving from Jakarta to Bogor for a multi experience trip. Ivan was great and Mr Man the driver was ever so helpful. I loved the history behind puppet making and even bought to masks.

I had a blast exploring the Bogor botanical garden, hijacked by local school kids for an interview for their school assignment and paid back in amazing fried banana snacks. Hiking in the jungle to the jackfruit waterfall while spotting many monkeys on the way, getting caught in the rain on the vast rice fields while stopping for a Tempeh 2nd lunch after the 1st which was Bakso :)

Had a great experience with Ivan, my tour guide and Elun the driver. Air conditioned vehicle with comfy seat. Picked me up at the airport during my layover. A great way to get out of the city and see some sites. Waterfall and monkeys were the highlight with a serene lunch in the Rice Fields. How do you spell very good English, which was nice so there was conversation during the driving. Also highly recommend. Would suggest you wear a swimsuit under your clothes and shoes that can go in the water to best enjoy the waterfall. The light did not do either. It was still very enjoyable.

We had a very good trip with Tripedia. We booked via TripAdvisor website and got in touch with the company staff right away to advice on the pickup time and location. ParkRoyal hotel wasn't on the list but we was able to set it as our pickup. The pickup was prompt and uneventful. Ivan was our trip guide, his knowledge of the Botanic Garden was great, was able to answer any question we had. The waterfall was nice, Ivan knows the area enough to advice us where is deep enough to swim in. The lunch on the rice paddy field was relaxing. We travelled in a private car, with Ivan and a driver, no other client was with us. Highly recommended!
