Located at a distance of about 14 kilometer from city center, Amber Fort or Amer Fort is one of the most-visited and most beautiful forts of India. The magnificence of the fort is well-justified by the palace complex which is made of pink and yellow sandstone. The palace complex comprises of 4 sections with each section having one courtyard. The signature monument of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal is one of the most visited Tourist attractions of Jaipur. Talk about the architecture, art, or the history associated with it- the palace leaves you wondered in every place. You will be welcomed by a charming fountain. Hawa Mahal has 953 windows which help in passage of wind through the palace leaving it cool even during summers. The palace was constructed for the royal women of Jaipur so that they can see the daily events happening on the streets of then Jaipur.
Although Jaipur is all about royal buildings, forts and palaces but the city also has one scientific gem, Jantar Mantar. There were 5 scientific observatories built in India during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and the one which is still the most-famous is Jantar Manatar Jaipur. It is a scientific observatory which holds 19 astronomical instruments made of stone. The most significant among all them is Samrat Yantra which is the largest sundial of the country. The observatory is located in the heart of Jaipur city and the objective of building it was to measure the distance position and movement of celestial bodies.

The Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur, is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the state museum of Rajasthan, India. The building is situated in Ram Niwas garden outside the city wall opposite New gate and is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. It is also called the Government Central Museum.

We recently arranged our Rajasthan trip through Gospyad, covering Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, and Jaipur, with hotel stays included. For the first two days, Bunty Rathod ji guided us, and for the remaining six days, Vishnu Singh accompanied us as our travel buddy. Both of them did an excellent job. Vishnu ji, in particular, not only showed us all the planned places neatly but also took us to hidden spots along the way that made the journey even more memorable. Even though we often spent extra time at each location and sometimes started late in the mornings, Vishnu ji never complained. He always greeted us with a smiling face and spoke respectfully, which made us feel very comfortable. He also ensured we experienced local Rajasthani street food by stopping at authentic places along the way. Over the nine days, we built a bond like family with him. Time passed so quickly that we never felt tired or delayed. Experiencing Rajasthan’s winter was also special for us, something we could never enjoy in Mumbai. Akshay ji’s planning and hotel selection were truly first-class. Our travel buddy made sure we reached the hotel by 7 PM every evening for dinner, and he handled all responsibilities very well. They even helped us buy Rajasthani sweets to take back home. Overall, this trip was wonderfully managed, and we are very satisfied. Next time, we will definitely travel again through Gospyad, and I will recommend to everyone that if you plan a trip, go with Gospyad for excellent hospitality.
