First, we will take you to the early morning flower and vegetable market, where you can experience the vibrant colors, fresh produce, and the lively atmosphere as local vendors showcase their goods.
Amer, a historic town just 11 km from the bustling city center, offers a tranquil retreat into India’s glorious past. Celebrated for its stunning historical sites, the town boasts iconic yellow havelis, ancient temples, and exquisitely preserved heritage buildings, making it a true treasure trove of architectural and cultural splendor.
The Panna Meena Ka Kund, was constructed in the 16th century to collect monsoon rains, ensuring a steady water supply for Jaipur during dry periods. Its intricate geometric staircases were designed to allow access to water at any level of the pool. Though it no longer serves its original purpose, the stepwell has become a popular tourist attraction. However, climbing the stairs is now prohibited, with guards stationed nearby to enforce the rules.
The Jagat Shiromani Temple, also known as the Meera Bai Temple, is a revered Hindu temple located in Amer. Dedicated to Meera Bai, Lord Krishna, and Lord Vishnu, the temple is a masterpiece of architecture and devotion. Constructed between 1599 and 1608 AD by Queen Kanakwati, wife of King Man Singh I, it was built in memory of their son, Jagat Singh. Jal Mahal, meaning "Water Palace," was built by Maharaja Madho Singh I as a hunting lodge, not a palace, for duck hunting trips. We had a fantastic time with Abdul as he brought us around to the main attractions in Jaipur. We saw Hawa mahal, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace and more.He is a great driver and knows so much about the city and it's history. We spent three days in total with Abdul because enjoyed his company so much. I'd recommend him to anyone traveling to Jaipur. Thank you Abdul for making our visit to Jaipur that extra bit special.

We were lucky to have met Abdul at the beginning of our trip in Jaipur. We didn't plan to rent anything for the whole day, but the first stories, advice, and descriptions of the city during the short drive to the hotel captivated us so much that we couldn't do otherwise. The rest of the day we spent with Abdul, who drove us around the city, advised us on what to see, what to eat and more. I don't know how we would have spent the day and what we would have seen if it hadn't been for that chance meeting. The unexpected helping hand in Jaipur was what we needed the most!
This was an amazing experience which allowed my family to explore Jaipur safely and comfortably whilst still getting the most out of our trip. Abdul was an amazing driver whose knowledge of the city meant that we got to encounter amazing artisans and a good history of Jaipur between visits to cultural sites. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for an easy way to explore the city!

He took us to all the gorgeous sites of Jaipur, and most importantly all the best shopping spots and on the way kept us highly entertained with brilliant facts about the city.
