Description
The walk through the narrow and wide lanes of this planned yet an old city, not only gives you an idea about history but also takes you through 250 years old culture. Our tour guides are architecture students, who know better about the city and love to endlessly talk about it. We do not include any of the monuments, which are covered separately and are touristic. We take you through the streets of Jaipur, where people’s history is unfolded, where every house has a story to tell. We also talk about the whys and hows of the city, its architecture, its culture and most importantly people around the city and their lifestyle.

Ajmeri gate is the One of the most busy gate, we will be talking about the history and use of this particular gate along with its importance. We will also be discussing the transport situation of old city and how ti evolved in current time.
We will siting in front of sarsa suli and discussing the architecture of the city and the thoughts behind the construction of it
Tripolia gate has been a magnificent and private enterance to royal famly and it was opened to general public only once when former king of jaipur, went to fight the election. Tales of royalty to follow upon arrival to this beautifully, painted gate
Palace of Wind or Hawal mahal is the most iconic building, jaipur has. t is even more iconic than "Amber fort". with over 900 Windows, this Engineering marvel will make you deep breathe, as the science behind it is amazing.
The place is a square in the back yard of City palace, the official residence of Crown of jaipur. This place is named after the serpentine road connecting it to the main road from east to west. This Square has historic importance, which is discussed upon arrival.
Govind Dev Ji temple is the most famous temple dedicated to lord Krishna, The temple is where we end our story of jaipur and go to a chai shop to have some Q&A session.

This tour is no longer running. Don’t book it! We waited for our guide and nobody showed up. Have had to request a full refund which is annoying as it sounded great.
Tour guide did not show up at meeting place and was not responsive to texts or calls. This is a SCAM!
The tour guide never showed up. I arrived at the specified location 10 min early (7:50 am), and waited until 8:35 am. I tried calling the tour provider contact number, but it wasn't in service. I contacted Trip Advisor/Viator and they were also unable to get in touch with the tour provider. Really disappointed. The tour provider really should provide a valid, working number. I have requested a refund.
Requested a refund because the guide didn't show up for this tour. Fortunately, the people at the hostel where we were to meet were very nice and help me to make other plans. They too were disturbed that their location was being used by BackpackIndia. THe phone number and contact details were bogus too. So I wasn't able to confirm or get in touch with anyone associated wit this tour. Don't get scammed - do not book this tour.
Definitely worth every penny! Our guide was amazing. His story telling was engaging, full of facts and he made it so much fun. As a solo I also felt at ease as he was very friendly, very personable and make sure to speak to every single person during the walks in between. You do walk quite a bit so I would suggest wearing trainers.

I did this tour when I was staying in Jaipur and I LOVED IT! It was such an informative and educational tour that explored the history of the Pink City and Jaipur. I learned so many incredible facts and saw some amazing things that I wouldn’t have experienced without going on the tour. Shrey (the tour guide) had such a wealth of knowledge of the city and could answer every question I had on the tour. The guides were friendly and helpful and really made the experience incredible. I highly recommend doing this tour if you want to see the city from a local and historic point of view!!

I spent time with Shrey and Ajay on their walking tour through Jaipur. First off, they are fun guys to be around and kept the tour fun with their humor. They were also very knowledgeable about the city and its history, pointing out different things about the architecture and taking us to places we wouldn't be able to go without them. We stopped for chai and tried some interesting foods along the way. I would greatly recommend this tour for an insiders look.

Shrey was a really good and well versed tour guide! He seemed very knowledgeable and made the tour a fun experience. Enjoyed walking through the streets of Jaipur while learning about the culture and heritage. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in knowing more/seeing what it has to offer.

Funny and really knowglable walking tour He was really careful with the shedules to allow us not to miss anything . Gave us enough time to take a Masala chai, which also allowed us to absorb all the information about the city while walking Great informative tour with amazing view of streets of jaipur amazing walking tour, It was like a story to us.
