A wonderful experience

From the punctual pick-up at our chosen location to the greeting from our guide, Melvin, we were really impressed by the efficiency of this experience. The drive up to the Western Highlands was great - seeing a different side of Guatemala. Melvin’s in-depth knowledge of and enthusiasm for the history of the ruined Mayan city we were visiting was very impressive. We learned so much. My partner always asks a lot of questions and nothing fazed Melvin. A great morning! Highly recommend this experience.,

Very informative

We were picked up right on time and were driven to Iximche. There, Melvin was waiting for us. He is a great guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable, good English, and took his time to answer all our questions. It was a very informative tour.

Booking process was easy...

Booking process was easy with timely communication from tour operator. Ended up being just the 2 for the 1/2 day tour. The driver picked us up in a very clean and comfortable vehicle and on time. Driver indicated he spoke minimal english which was fine as it gave us an opportunity to practice our spanish. Where the tour disappointed was with the guide who met us at the ruins. He was friendly and seemed somewhat knowledgeable but was totally distracted during our tour. Unfortunately he was more focused on his cellphone than us, often excusing himself to take calls, make calls and checking messages as far as I could tell. However, overall we enjoyed the experience.

Our driver arrived...

Our driver arrived promptly and professionally. Our guide at Iximche was knowledgeable, friendly and spoke English perfectly so was able to give us plenty of information. The site isn't too busy so it's a peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of Antigua.

A great experience from start to finish

Our driver (forgot his name) arrived on time and was polite and helpful. He was a great and patient driver in some pretty intense traffic including a big bike race. Our local guide, Melvin, was lovely. There were no questions that he couldn’t answer. We arrived a little earlier than another group that was joining us. Melvin gave us a short but in-depth tour of the museum while we waited. I would recommend this company, guide and driver.
