For other neigborhoods in Salvador there is a pickup/return fee per person (payable in cash at the beginning of the tour). For pickup/return places out of Salvador da Bahia please get in touch for info about the optional pickup & return fee. IMPORTANT OBSERVATION : this tour is inclusive pick-up ONLY in SALVADOR city (reaching until the International Airport). We sought to discover the city of Salvador off the beaten track, with a francophone and we found what we were looking for with Ivan Bahia. Salvador is a huge city and we have found that it is not easy to move there if you do not know it, and more if you are a little selective of what you want to see like us, it is not always easy to find a guide open to going to things, places, people outside tourist area. With Ivan we found the perfect person. A French-speaking expat, he has lived in Salvador for a very long time and knows the city as if he were born there. So we discovered how the inhabitants of Salvador live, what they do to (survive), their pleasures, their religion (very interesting to visit a candomble community), the great market Saint Joachim (we believed in it at the souk of Marrakech) and many more. If you want to visit Salvador off tour choose Ivan, you will spend an exciting day.
