It was a very fun experience and you get to keep a very unique souvenir!!
Booked this experience with my nine year old daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The ladies running the workshop were really helpful and made us feel real welcome.
A relaxing afternoon. The young workshop host was very helpful in explaining everything and recommending colours for the small beads at the end but also just left us to create without feeling like we were under pressure. A fun experience and something special to take home from Istanbul.
Make sure they give you the US charger if you’re from the US. The lighting was rushed for us, and we ended up with lamps that don’t light overseas. The activity goes by faster if you have colors or designs in mind. The afternoon class had less colors available than earlier sessions.
This is our 3rd workshop we visited with this vendor and we enjoyed it yet again. The mosaic lamp workshop is must do in Istanbul. Very fun way to create your own souvenir.
I sent my parents to this workshop while they were visiting Istanbul and they loved it. they said it was so relaxing. there weren’t many people when they went and that the instructor was great! now they get to take home pieces of of their trip. they’re both so proud of their lamps!! 😊 so worth it
I brought my French colleagues from France to a mosaic lamp workshop, and we all had a wonderful experience. The workshop was much more enjoyable, especially thanks to Mr. Serhat's warm interest and detailed explanations. His patient explanation of each step was excellent. My friends were very happy to have had the opportunity to get to know Turkish culture and this art form up close. The atmosphere was very warm and peaceful; it was a truly beautiful and unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone involved, we would love to come again 🌟
Lovely, relaxing and authentic experience. Ezra gave us clear instructions and we had loads of fun. Such a lovely keepsake to take home too. We were also provided with very clear instructions on how to find the art studio, which is very important in a city as confusing as Istanbul.
Had the best time working on my lamp, talked to some other travelers who were also working on their lamp. She gave a quick introduction and it was time to start! Have an idea of colors or designs you want, but there is also a tutorial sheet on different star shapes. I was in a rush to leave cause I had another engagement, but i forgot to ask for the USA plug adapter and she didn't ask, so by default you get a Euro plug. Remember to ask if you need it!
Great experience, we all loved it and were fortunate to be with other people who were lovely. Would have been nice to have had more interaction with the provider of the workshop.
